According to the China Basketball Development Report,the population of basketball in China is about 140 million,which shows that basketball is a popular sport among the public.With the enrichment of campus life,the campus basketball league is in full swing,and more and more college students are involved in the basketball game,which makes their basketball level constantly improve,at the same time,the intensity of competition and confrontation is also increasing.This has higher requirements on the physical ability and physical quality of college basketball fans.Core strength training originated in the field of fitness and rehabilitation in developed countries in Europe and the United States,and was introduced into China in the 1990 s.It has been proved by many scholars’ experimental studies that core strength training can achieve a stable state of the body in the process of exercise,promote the generation and conduction of force,and enhance athletic performance by exercising large muscle groups of trunk,hip and pelvis as well as deep small muscle groups.Basketball is a typical competitive sport with high intensity and high skill.Therefore,the key to enhance the performance in basketball is to improve the special physical fitness,which is the consensus of all basketball lovers.The positive effect of core strength training on most sports has become a consensus,but the core strength training methods used by different sports should be different.Because basketball is a kind of sports activities based on the same competition,so in the case of the same strength,the core strength plays a decisive role.Therefore,in order to improve the level of college basketball fans,it is necessary to carry out core strength training in peacetime basketball training.In order to explore the influence of core strength training on the special physical ability of college basketball fans,this paper adopts the method of literature,expert interview,questionnaire,mathematical statistics,experiment and other research methods.At the same time,this problem is combined with the previous research results,carried out in-depth analysis.Forty basketball enthusiasts of Southwestern University of Finance and Economics were selected as the experimental subjects,and they were divided into two groups,respectively for 10 weeks of different training programs.Mathematical statistics and results analysis were carried out on the data reflecting the special physical fitness test indicators of the experimental subjects.Finally,the following conclusions are obtained through the experiment:The improvement effect of core strength training on special physical fitness of basketball is obviously higher than that of traditional strength training.Although traditional strength training has a corresponding improvement in strength quality,but in other quality improvement effect is not significant;The core strength training plays a very good role in the lower extremity explosive power,sensitive quality,endurance quality and speed quality,and the improvement effect is obvious,indicating that the core strength training is obviously better than the single traditional strength training.At the same time,considering that the traditional strength training has a significant impact on the improvement of strength quality,it should be organically combined with the core strength training,which is conducive to the special physical improvement of college basketball fans.The two training methods should complement each other,so the basketball fans should combine the two training methods to make the training more targeted and purposefully.Therefore,it should be different for each person to combine core strength with traditional strength training.Finally,in the daily training,in the training methods and training means,we should pay attention to the development of modern basketball.
