Educational evaluation is related to the development direction of education,which is conducive to improving the ability and level of education governance,accelerating the modernization of education,and building an educational power.Teaching evaluation has the role of measuring,analyzing and evaluating teaching activities and teaching results.As the logical starting point for the training of physical education teachers in primary and secondary schools in the future,the evaluation of the learning ability of students in this major is particularly important.Therefore,it is of great significance to carry out the evaluation of the learning ability of students majoring in physical education,so as to understand the current situation of students’ learning ability,analyze the structure and influencing factors affecting the learning ability of students in this major,and explore ways to improve efficient learning.This paper takes the improvement of the learning ability of physical education students as the problem-oriented,uses the literature method,Delphi method and analytic hierarchy method,and starts from the four dimensions of learning foundation,learning acceptance,learning inquiry and learning transformation,and constructs the learning ability evaluation indicators of physical education students including 4 firstlevel indicators,12 second-level indicators and 45 third-level indicators,and conducts research on physical education students in some sports colleges to explore the existing problems and influencing factors.Then,an improvement strategy is proposed to improve the learning ability of physical education students.The study found that: 1 students’ learning ability development level is unbalanced;2.Insufficient learning and application ability of students;3.Students’ learning ability is less sustainable.To this end,the following improvement strategies are proposed: 1.Give play to the leading role of teaching and promote the all-round development of students’ learning ability;2.Improve the teaching practice mode to improve the quality of students’ learning ability;3.Innovate the talent training model to achieve the diversified development of students’ learning ability.
