It is clearly pointed out in the Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education Ethics and Rule of Law(2022 Edition)that it is necessary to adhere to the unity of teachers’ value guidance and students’ subject construction,highlight students’ subject status,and guide students to carry out independent and cooperative practice and exploration activities.Teaching white space refers to a teaching technique that teachers set aside certain time and space for students to participate in by creatively using methods such as questioning difficulties,verbal stimulation and practice summary on the basis of mastering teaching objectives and content under the guidance of education and teaching rules,so as to exert students’ learning initiative and achieve better teaching effects.The application of teaching white space in the teaching of "Morality and Rule of Law" in junior high school is not only conducive to the implementation of the "student-oriented" education concept,conducive to meeting the requirements of the new curriculum standards,conducive to highlighting the principal position of students,but also conducive to the cultivation of students’ core qualities,enriching teachers’ teaching skills,and creating an efficient "Morality and rule of law" classroom in junior high school.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the application of teaching white space in the teaching of Morality and Rule of Law in junior high school.This paper is composed of introduction,main body and conclusion.The main body has the following four parts.The first part is the theoretical overview of teaching white space.This part mainly expounds the core concept,application stage,theoretical basis and application value of teaching white space.The second part is the investigation and analysis of the application of teaching white space in the teaching of Morality and Rule of Law in junior high school.Through questionnaires and interviews,this part investigates the effectiveness and existing problems of teaching white space,and analyzes its causes from three stages: design,implementation and reflection of white space.The third part is the principle and optimization strategy of teaching white space in the teaching of Morality and Rule of Law in junior high school.This part puts forward the application principles of white space,including the moderation of white space,the application of white space and the inspiration of white space.In the optimization strategy,teachers should enhance the awareness of white space and skillfully use a variety of white space forms;Teachers should reasonably use teaching materials and fully explore the resources left blank;In the teaching process,teachers should reasonably control the difficulty and timing of white space;Students should improve their awareness and ability,and teachers should play their guiding role.Teachers should strengthen the reflection of teaching blank and improve the blank evaluation mechanism.The fourth part is the teaching examples of the use of teaching white space in the course of Morality and Rule of Law.This part is mainly based on the second box of the third lesson in the first unit of the unified textbook Morality and Rule of Law for junior middle school as an example,and starts writing from the teaching design,application process and application effect evaluation. |
