The popularization of the concept of "physical and health integration" provides a new perspective for colleges and universities to better cultivate sports and medical and health talents.Therefore,in the teaching practice of colleges and universities,the educational role of medical and health education should not only stop at medical courses,but should be paid more attention to and promoted in other fields.The concept of "physical and health integration" runs through every link of the special course of aquatic fitness,aiming to help students master swimming techniques,rehabilitation therapy,and the ability to save themselves and others,and cultivate a correct outlook on life,world view and values.This course is designed to allow students to improve their skills in practice and contribute to society.Through a variety of methods,such as literature analysis,questionnaire survey,and Telfi method,we surveyed the 2019,2020,and 2021 students of Tianjin Institute of Physical Education and their related professionals,and took them as our research objects.By studying the sports integration elements of "physical health integration",the idea of "physical health integration" and the provisions of "physical health integration",we reimagine the teaching mode of "physical health integration" integrated physical education classes,and present the essence of sports integration in a more comprehensive and systematic form.After in-depth investigation and analysis,we can conclude:1.In the teaching process,the elements of physical and health integration are not deeply reflected,the teaching content is not integrated,and the teaching evaluation methods are limited.Students’ performance in practical application is insufficient,and their initiative to discover,think and solve problems is insufficient,and new momentum needs to be added;The proportions of teachers’ curriculum teaching forms,means,and methods need to be re-explored,and teachers need to change their traditional teaching ideas and concepts.2.The logical starting point of curriculum design is to improve the integration of special courses and students’ sports learning ability.The guiding principles of curriculum design are systematic,effective and practical,and the social needs are unified with the needs of students.3.In view of the lack of integration of teaching content,this paper determines through three rounds of expert questionnaires that the curriculum design consists of 4first-level indicators(course objectives,course content,curriculum implementation,and course evaluation),14 second-level indicators,and 55 third-level indicators,and the design of each indicator incorporates the concept of "physical and health integration",and the design of each indicator highlights the rich physical hygiene elements contained in the curriculum.4.Based on the concept of "physical and health integration",the teaching of the special course of aquatic fitness will achieve remarkable results,which not only runs through the syllabus,but also covers the teaching objectives,content,process and methods and evaluation,so as to achieve the perfect combination of special skills teaching and education functions,thus achieving the purpose of dual education.
