October 15,2020,the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council issued the "Opinions on comprehensively strengthening and improving aesthetic education in schools in the new era",clearly requiring that aesthetic education be fully integrated into the secondary school examination reform,all regions and departments combined with the actual implementation of serious.By 2035,a modern school aesthetic education system with Chinese characteristics will be basically formed with full coverage,diversity and high quality.As an important subject for implementing aesthetic education,the construction role of music in school aesthetic education work is irreplaceable by other subjects.In the context of the comprehensive inclusion of aesthetic education in the reform of the secondary school examination,the development of students’ singing ability in junior high school music classroom teaching is what is considered and studied in this paper.The paper is divided into five parts: an introduction section,which describes the background of the study,the significance of the study,the current status of domestic research and foreign research,and,the research methodology;In the second part,the concepts related to aesthetic education,singing instruction,and singing ability are described;In the third part,the current situation of developing students’ singing ability in junior high school music classroom teaching is investigated from four aspects: teaching facilities,curriculum,junior high school music classroom singing learning situation,and junior high school music classroom singing teaching situation,and the relevant problems are analyzed;In the fourth part,based on the investigation of the current situation of students’ singing ability cultivation,an attempt is made to put forward the relevant theoretical basis for cultivating students’ singing ability in junior high school music classroom teaching in six aspects: improving students’ interest in singing,cultivating singing skills,attaching importance to teachers’ singing teachers,cultivating students’ thinking imagination,cultivating students’ musical aesthetic ability,strengthening teaching management and improving teaching quality;Finally,according to the proposed teaching strategies,the four works for teaching songs were selected for teaching practice and evaluated and reflected on.
