Research On The Construction Of Counselors In Private Colleges In The New Era

Counselors are an important component of the teaching and management team in higher education institutions,and are the backbone of carrying out ideological and political education for college students.Strengthening the construction of the counselor team in private universities in the new era is of great significance for them to implement the fundamental task of cultivating morality and talents,and cultivate socialist builders and successors with comprehensive development of morality,intelligence,physical fitness,aesthetics,and labor.Following the basic policies and regulations of the "Regulations on the Construction of Counselor Teams in Ordinary Universities","Professional Ability Standards for Counselors in Higher Education Institutions(Provisional)",and the General Office of the State Council on strengthening and improving ideological and political education work in universities,combined with the actual situation of private universities,using research methods such as literature research,questionnaire surveys,and individual interviews,this study investigates the current situation of the construction of counselor teams in private universities,Analyze the problems and reasons in the construction of counselor teams in private universities,and propose countermeasures and suggestions to strengthen and improve the construction of counselor teams in private universities in the new era.Based on ideological and political education and Marxist theory,based on the fundamental task of cultivating morality and cultivating people and the practical needs of high-quality and healthy development,and according to relevant regulations on counselor team construction,the survey results show that the counselor team in private universities has achieved certain results in mission fulfillment,responsibility implementation,political literacy,system construction,and other aspects.In terms of counselor team structure,school related construction,and supervision by education regulatory departments There are still certain problems in the professionalization and professionalization ability of counselors,which are caused by weak links in party building and ideological and political work in private universities,insufficient attention paid by some organizers to the construction of counselor teams,lack of targeted and humanistic care in relevant systems,and insufficient supervision and inspection by higher-level departments.Therefore,we should start from strengthening the guidance of party building and ideological and political work in private universities,enhancing the mission responsibility of the organizers of private universities,improving and ensuring the enthusiasm and initiative of counselors,and strengthening the supervision and inspection of laws and regulations in private education to strengthen the construction of the counselor team in private universities.
