Peer relationship is an important channel for junior middle school students to improve their cognitive ability and individual socialization.Based on the investigation of junior high school students’ peer relationship,this paper chooses the intervention mode of film therapy on the basis of positive psychology,in order to explore an intervention scheme suitable for junior high school students’ peer relationship improvement,test its effectiveness,and finally put forward relevant educational suggestions.Therefore,this study adopts investigation method,experiment method and non-quantitative analysis method,and the research contents are as follows:Study 1: The current situation of peer relationship among grade eight.A total of 523 junior high school students in a school in Tianjin were selected as the research object,and their overall situation and demographic variables were measured by the Peer Relationship Scale for Children and Adolescents.Study 2: Intervention of peer relationship among grade eight.According to the results of literature review and study 1,according to the theoretical basis of positive psychology and peer relationship and its influencing factors,the counseling scheme of film therapy for grade eight is designed and implemented.Students with an overall score of 38 or above in peer relationship of Grade eight students were selected and randomly divided into experimental group and control group.The students in the experimental group were intervened by film therapy for eight times,and compared with the control group in quantitative analysis,and the effectiveness of film therapy intervention was tested with reference to the results of non-quantitative analysis.Through the above research,the following two results are obtained:Study 1: The overall level of peer relationship and the scores of school cognition and individual cognition of grade eight students are at the middle and low level,that is,the peer relationship is in good condition.There are differences in whether to be a class cadre or not,and the level of peer relationship between class cadres is better than that of students who do not hold this position;In gender,there is no significant difference between the overall situation of peer relationship and the score of school cognitive dimension,but there is significant difference in the score of individual cognitive dimension,and the peer relationship of girls is better than that of boys;There is no difference in the total score of peer relationship and the scores of two dimensions whether they are only children or not.Study 2: Based on the theory of peer relationship and positive psychology,the students in the experimental group were intervened by film therapy.The post-test data proved that the level of peer relationship in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group.Therefore,film therapy with positive psychological methods and techniques can effectively improve the peer relationship of grade eight.
