In the context of labor education in the new era,the Ministry of Education has clearly pointed out that it is necessary to fully implement the Party’s educational policies,effectively strengthen labor education,and incorporate labor education into the entire process of talent cultivation,penetrating all stages of primary and secondary schools,including families,schools,and society.In order to comply with the development of the times,higher requirements have been put forward for the quality of workers,and new missions and tasks have been assigned to labor education.In 2022,the Ministry of Education promulgated the "Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education and Labor Education",which established the core literacy of labor curriculum,and set new goals and requirements for the education of universities,middle schools,and middle schools in the new era.In this context,labor education is receiving increasing attention.Based on the Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education in Labor Education(2022)promulgated by the Ministry of Education in 2022,this thesis states the detailed connotations of the four major literacies based on the core literacies of the labor curriculum,including: eight dimensions of knowledge and technology,labor awareness,practical skills,thinking skills,labor habits,labor qualities,personality traits and beliefs,and the connection with the core literacies of physics subjects.And on the basis of the framework of labor literacy,the connotation framework of labor literacy is proposed.At the same time,the relevant studies on labor education and physics curriculum integration labor teaching at home and abroad were sorted out.Based on the research literature review,the main aspects of labor education research were identified as connotation,implementation status,development history,implementation strategies and ways,etc.;the main aspects of curriculum integration research were development and origin,implementation status,etc.In order to further clarify the relationship between labor and physics subjects,the researcher analyzed the current junior and senior high school physics textbooks,quantified and counted the labor elements in physics textbooks,and made detailed elaboration on the examples.Due to the complexity of the implementation of labor education and the diversity of ways to integrate it with physics courses,in order to give consideration to the comprehensiveness and depth of research,questionnaires and interviews have been adopted,A survey of 232 students and 52 teachers was conducted from two perspectives:a survey of the current situation of middle school students’ labor literacy and a survey of the integration of physical courses into labor education.Six teachers and six students were interviewed,and the underlying reasons behind the survey were explored.The conclusions are as follows:(1)Teacher survey: In carrying out the teaching of integrating labor and physics courses,teachers are unable to consciously and systematically carry out integrated teaching due to the serious disciplinary tendency of the overall teaching environment of the school,the lack of evaluation systems,their own limitations on the breadth and depth of knowledge in other disciplines,and the lack of correct and comprehensive teaching theory and framework guidance.Teachers believe that their own limitations on the breadth and depth of knowledge in other disciplines are one of the main obstacles to integrated teaching,reflecting the urgency of cultivating a pool of vocational labor teachers and the inadequacy of the overall environment.(2)Student Survey: First of all,students do not have a clear understanding of the concept of labor,simply equate labor with housework and physical labor,and do not understand the definition of labor in the new era and curriculum standards.The labor practice of middle school students is obviously insufficient,and the form of labor is unitary,lacking active labor.The most common work that students do on a daily basis is cleaning the campus and household hygiene.The survey found that if there are other forms of rich labor,students are very willing to participate in order to improve labor skills and enrich life experience.Middle school students actively pay attention to extracurricular information related to labor and physics in their daily lives,but suffer from limited resources and need to deliberately search for learning.Therefore,they very much hope to have a platform with rich resources for school communication.In order to solve the problem of the lack of resources and learning platform related to the integration of physical disciplines with labor education,this paper builds a platform in the form of We Chat official account and carries out resource development,in which resources for eight topics are stored,including: 1.Special topics on optical instrument production series;2.Special Topics in Labor Education and Ancient Chinese Physics;3.Special topics on labor culture in the history of physics;4.Special topics on labor education and ancient instrument manufacturing;5.Special topic on the application of labor technology in life;6.Special topics on labor situations in physics classes;7.Special Topics in Physics Experiment Series;8.Excellent practice cases of labor education.After completing the development of the resources,the authors put the resources into practice and into the secondary physics classroom.The first step was to complete a handson lecture on the resource,and the second step was to assign a hands-on assignment.Upon completion,questionnaires and interviews were conducted with 98 students in two classes,and it was concluded that the hands-on resource classroom was more interesting and better able to keep students focused compared to the traditional physics classroom.It has cultivated students’ ability of teamwork,promoted their understanding of physics knowledge,improved their practical thinking skills,and truly accomplished "learning by doing",solving the long-standing problem of physics knowledge being detached from real life and improving students’ core physics and work literacy in all aspects.The research on the integration of labor education and physics courses is a research topic with significant theoretical and practical significance.The cultivation of middle school students’ labor literacy also has a long way to go.In future studies and work,we will continue to pay attention to and study this topic for further exploration. |
