| With the advent of the "Internet +" era,the degree of information technology in the society is deepening rapidly,and information awareness has become an inevitable requirement for individuals to survive in the modern society.Information Technology Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)issued by the Ministry of Education defines the core literacy system of disciplines,in which information awareness plays a fundamental role and is the basis for improving students’ core literacy.The traditional teaching that only focuses on students’ operational skills is no longer suitable for the rapid development of the information age.Scholars have explored new teaching modes and methods and deepened their understanding of unit teaching.This mode has been applied in many disciplines to improve the teaching effect,and IT is also suitable for the subject of information technology.The main problem of this paper is to enhance students’ information awareness.In order to understand the current situation of primary school students’ information awareness,this study took Y Primary School in Nanchang City as an example,conducted a questionnaire survey on senior primary school students,and found that primary school students’ overall level of information awareness was low,especially in information evaluation and application.On the other hand,through a simple understanding of teachers,it is found that teachers’ teaching methods are traditional,teaching content is single,focus on knowledge and skills but ignore quality cultivation and other problems.According to the investigation,it can be concluded that the current teaching methods and teaching content can not respond to the new curriculum standards on the cultivation of students’ information awareness.Therefore,based on literature review,this study puts forward six dimensions of information awareness: information demand,acquisition,evaluation,application,management and communication,and designs a survey tool based on this.Firstly,the tool is applied to the understanding of the current situation,and on this basis,the unit teaching model is designed.Secondly,on the basis of referring to teaching materials and grasping students’ learning situation,we creatively form specific teaching implementation plans,and take the unit of "Information collection and processing" as an example to carry out teaching implementation.Finally,the effectiveness of unit teaching method is demonstrated by questionnaire survey and interview.According to the experimental results,it is concluded that using unit teaching method to carry out teaching is conducive to cultivating pupils’ information awareness.By comparing the experimental results of the experimental class and the control class,it is verified that the experimental class has significantly improved the level of information awareness,which proves that unit teaching has a significant effect on improving students’ information awareness.This study preliminarily demonstrates that unit teaching method is beneficial to the cultivation of information awareness of pupils in the course of information technology,and provides certain reference for the teaching of primary school teachers. |
