In recent years,a series of policies have been introduced from the central to the local level to promote the development of study tours. With the spirit and requirements of the new curriculum reform as a guide, study tours break through the traditional teaching space, and their experiential, research and practical characteristics fit well with the cultivation of disciplinary core literacy, and also put forward new requirements for the teaching model. However, most of the current study tour courses have the condition of "emphasizing travel rather than learning",and the attributes of disciplines are weakened. In addition, the teaching mode of study tour courses with subject knowledge acquisition goals is mainly based on the traditional teacher’s teaching and lecturing, and students passively receive knowledge input, making it difficult for their participation and subjectivity to be effectively played. In this paper,we review a large amount of literature related to research trips and PBL research through case study method and research method to understand the current status of research at home and abroad.Using theories such as Bruner’s discovery learning theory and constructivist learning theory as the theoretical basis for the study, the questionnaire was designed based on the new curriculum reform policy.A survey was conducted on the current situation of the implementation of study tours and the demand for project-based learning(PBL)applied to the design of study tour curriculum among senior high school students and front-line teachers in W High School in Nanchang City.A total of 214 valid questionnaires were collected through offline paper questionnaires and 64 valid questionnaires were collected through online questionnaire software. The results show that the current study tour process is mostly based on tourism experience, and students’ initiative in participating in activities or research is not high, and there is a lack of scientific curriculum structure framework and evaluation system. In addition, most of the teachers involved in the design of study tours are inexperienced and do not even have experience in study tours. In addition to teaching pressure, they are unable to devote themselves to the curriculum design process of study tours, resulting in insufficient integration with subject knowledge and a single mode of curriculum teaching implementation. The main focus is on guided tours, and students receive them passively, which cannot reflect students’ initiative and does not meet the requirements of the current new curriculum reform. This paper constructs a new PBL-based study tour curriculum design process and designs a "three stages and six steps" study tour curriculum development model. It is divided into three stages: before, during, and after the task, and through six steps: project selection, planning, cooperative inquiry, work creation, result exchange, and evaluation and reflection, the curriculum objectives, curriculum content, curriculum implementation, and curriculum evaluation are determined, and the program of Nanchang W.High School’s "One Belt,One Road,Chasing Dreams" study trip to Quanzhou is designed. The curriculum includes a pre-trip preparation course, four days of six sub-topic projects in the study travel practice activities and a post-trip summary and evaluation course. The design is led by the driving question of "the causes of Quanzhou becoming the starting point of the Maritime Silk Road",and follows the inquiry model of asking questions-acquiring information-integrating information-analyzing information-solving problems, mainly in the form of group cooperative PBL study activities, with a view to making use of local study resources through rich study activities.give full play to the educational function of study tours. This study aims to cultivate students’ subject core literacy and promote their all-round development;secondly,it is also conducive to teachers’ role transformation and professional development, and provides case guidance for schools and teachers involved in curriculum design in terms of research course content screening, activity design and teaching mode;finally, this study provides reference for curriculum optimization of research bases and institutions, and opens up new ideas for them in terms of route selection and resource supply.
