A Study On The Cultivation Path Of Legal Consciousness In The Teaching Of Morality And Rule By Law In Junior High School

In the report to the Party’s 20 th National Congress,the general secretary Xi Jin Ping pointed out,"We will speed up the building of a society under the rule of law,carry forward the spirit of socialist rule of law,carry forward the fine traditional Chinese legal culture,guide all the people to be faithful advocates,consciously abide by,and firm defenders of the socialist rule of law,and strive to make respect for the law,law,and law abiding become a common practice in the whole society." Legal education is an important part of the national education system.The cultivation of legal consciousness among teenagers is related to the future of the country and the rise and fall of the nation.Moral and Rule of Law Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)lists "rule of law education" as one of the teaching content requirements of Moral and rule of Law course,aiming to help junior high school students establish the idea of rule of law,so as to improve their moral cultivation and ability to rule of law,thus highlighting the importance of strengthening junior high school students’ awareness of rule of law.This paper takes "Advocating the Spirit of Rule of Law",Unit 4 of the second volume of the textbook of "Morality and Rule of Law" in Grade 8 of junior high school as a case study to discuss the cultivation process and methods of junior high school students’ consciousness of rule of law.The Curriculum Standard of Moral and Rule of Law for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition),guided by the goal of cultivating the rule of law consciousness of junior middle school students,collects the current situation of the cultivation of the rule of law consciousness of junior middle school students in B Middle School of Hingunita League through investigation,research and classroom observation by using humanistic theory and optimization theory of teaching,discusses the causes,and gives the path of cultivating the rule of law consciousness.This paper is divided into three parts.The first part is an overview of the cultivation of legal consciousness in the Moral and Rule of Law course in junior high school.Firstly,the connotation of "rule of law,rule of law consciousness,rule of law consciousness cultivation" is expounded.Secondly,it Outlines the significance of cultivating the consciousness of rule of law.Finally,it defines the goal of cultivating the consciousness of rule of law,that is,to promote the healthy growth of junior high school students in body and mind,enhance the consciousness of junior high school students in learning the law,abiding by the law and using the law,which is conducive to the construction of a socialist country under the rule of law,and cultivate qualified socialist citizens.The second part is the analysis of the problems and causes of the cultivation of the legal consciousness in the course of Morality and the Rule of Law.Taking B Middle School of Hinggan League as an example,this paper collects the cultivation status of students’ consciousness of rule of law through questionnaire survey and interview.Then it puts forward the causes of the problems in cultivating the consciousness of rule of law to provide the basis for the path study.The third part will focus on how to take effective measures to better cultivate students’ awareness of rule of law.This paper holds that to change the cultivation of legal consciousness requires teachers to change their teaching ideas,adopt diversified teaching methods,improve the practicability of teaching content and perfect the evaluation mechanism of legal teaching.
