As the future and hope of our country and society,the formation and level of legal consciousness of teenagers will inevitably affect the process of building a socialist country ruled by law.Since the fourth Plenary session of the 18 th CPC Central Committee,under the background of comprehensively promoting the rule of law,the Party and government departments have attached great importance to the work of educating young people about the rule of law.In 2016,the Ministry of Education issued the Circular on matters related to Teaching Books for Primary and Secondary Schools for 2016.It is clearly requested that "moral character" in junior high school be formally changed into "morality and rule of law" textbook,and this textbook is renamed "rule of law",which releases the signal that the country attaches great importance to the education of rule of law,and the rule of law education in middle school is also in line with the trend.As an important part of the national education system,morality and the rule of law are the main positions of the legal education and legal consciousness cultivation in middle schools.The level of legal consciousness of junior middle school students is also a direct embodiment of the construction of a society ruled by law.With the updating of teaching materials for rule of law education,the content is constantly rich.Although the current junior high school students' education of rule of law has made certain achievements,it is influenced by the closed environment of villages and towns,the social negative information and the confusion of self-cognition,etc.So that the formation of junior high school students' legal consciousness has a certain realistic challenge.Therefore,under the background of morality and Rule of Law,this paper uses the methods of literature,field investigation,classroom observation,case analysis,and so on.The research object is to cultivate students' legal consciousness in the teaching of "morality and Rule of Law" in Xiaoxinjie Middle School of Yuanyang County,Yunnan Province.This paper firstly analyzes the status and function of cultivating students' legal consciousness in the course of morality and Rule of Law,and summarizes the realistic basis and practical significance of cultivating students' legal consciousness.Secondly,through the text comparison and analysis of the content of morality and rule of law in the teaching material of ideology and morality and the teaching edition of the ministry editor,the author further clarifies the need of legal knowledge.Point and the emphasis of teaching implementation.This paper finds that in the teaching of morality and Rule of Law,there are still shortcomings in the following aspects: teachers,students,teaching methods and approaches,teaching evaluation and environment.That is,teachers' legal literacy is relatively insufficient,the school is short of full-time rule of law teachers of law major,the consciousness of law abiding by minority students has not yet formed,the motivation and self-efficacy of law study are poor;Schools and teachers ignore the importance of rule of law education,and the supplementary family rule of law education and classroom rule of law teaching methods are relatively single,the evaluation of rule of law education "total achievement,light process",comprehensive evaluation exists in the examination period.Comment on the situation,etc.Based on the above research results,this paper establishes and perfects the teaching evaluation system of morality and rule of law by clarifying the teaching principles of morality and rule of law,implementing the teaching objectives of rule of law,The author puts forward concrete solutions to establish the correct teaching view and teaching method of students' legal consciousness.
