Research On The Influence Of "Fandom Culture" On Contemporary Female College Students’Concept Of Marriage And Love

Marriage is a topic that has been around for a long time.In 2017,the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China(CPC)and the State Council issued the Medium and Long-term Youth Development Plan(2016-2025),which clearly proposes to "guide young people to establish a civilized,healthy and rational concept of marriage".College students are the future of the homeland and the new generation,who carry the great task of national rejuvenation.As a powerful force in socialist modernization,female college students can only play an important and indispensable "half sky" role in the construction of a powerful socialist country with Chinese characteristics in the new era by guiding them to establish a correct concept of marriage and self-reliance.Under the influence of fans’ emotions,social media development,capital power manipulation and multi-cultural integration,"fandom culture" has increasingly become a popular subcultural phenomenon among young people,presenting participatory culture highlighting subject consciousness,consumer culture under the impact of idol economy,community culture relying on emotional traction,and youth subculture that strays from mainstream culture.The subculture of young people is a subculture of the mainstream culture.Young women are the main audience group of the "fandom culture",and female college students are an important part of it.Will the "fandom culture" have any influence on the values of female college students in marriage? How much influence does it have? This is the starting point of this paper.In this paper,1027 questionnaires and 20 in-depth interviews were conducted for female college students in 11 universities in Hangzhou,taking the four dimensions of love,mate selection,marriage and family,and sexuality as the four dimensions of marriage and love.According to the research,the overall view of contemporary female college students on marriage is positive and upward,specifically,the motivation of love is more rational,the concept of choosing a spouse is more comprehensive,the sense of responsibility of marriage is stronger,and the concept of gender is more open.In the process of forming the concept of marriage,the "fandom culture" is a factor that cannot be ignored.At present,female college students show the characteristics of universal starhunting,sensual idol selection and rational "fandom" activities in general.The degree of influence of "fandom culture" on female college students’ view of marriage is inversely proportional to their age and education;it is positively proportional to their emotional thinking and degree of joining the circle.Under the influence of "fandom culture",the marriage view of female college students shows high standard of choosing a spouse and the difficulty of getting off;the casualness of love motivation and the indifference of responsibility;the decrease of trust in marriage and the increase of fear of marriage and non-marriage;the excessive openness of sexual concept and the lack of safety knowledge.From the pedagogical point of view,this is closely related to the unbalanced physical and mental development of female college students,the role of family education is not fully manifested,the lack of guidance of marriage education in schools,and the increase of negative influence of social environment.Therefore,the education and guidance strategy of female college students’ correct marriage concept must strengthen the linkage and synergy of individuals,families,schools and society,and make efforts to effectively play the dynamic role of individual self-education,pay full attention to the cornerstone role of family basic education,continuously strengthen the main position role of colleges and universities in establishing moral education,and actively sing the main theme of healthy and upward social.
