According to the new situation of the basic universalization of high school level education in China,the Ministry of Education developed the "General High School Information Technology Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition Revised 2020)"(hereinafter referred to as the new standards),the new standards for the subject of information technology has changed the requirements of students from the original knowledge and skills learning to the improvement of the subject of information technology literacy aspects.After the new crown epidemic started in 2020,every semester in my rural school,offline classes were not possible due to the epidemic because of the lack of digital learning ability and self-discipline of rural school students,which led to the decline of performance in all subjects.Digital learning and innovation literacy has been a key literacy for students’ competitiveness in modern society and is a top priority for disciplinary core literacy development,but no relevant studies on digital learning and innovation literacy development for rural school students have been found in the literature search,so this thesis is based on the study of how to effectively enhance digital learning and innovation literacy of rural school students.Based on the actual problems in high school IT teaching in rural schools,the lack of digital learning and innovation literacy among students in rural schools,as well as the serious lag in teachers’ teaching concepts and tools and the insufficient amount of class time.By implementing interactive video teaching to support students’ digital learning and using interactive videos as digital learning resources,students can make interactive choices based on their learning reality and generate personalized learning paths that suit their needs.Benefiting from new teaching tools and teaching concepts,the traditional IT classroom is transformed into teaching with new technology tools-interactive video-to achieve the goal of enhancing digital learning and innovation literacy of students in rural schools.The main elements of this study include:The literature research method is used to sort out the current status of domestic and international research on digital learning and innovation literacy and interactive video,and to summarize and discuss the theories and concepts related to digital learning and innovation literacy and interactive video.The principles and design process of interactive video teaching design are firstly discussed around the enhancement of digital learning and innovation literacy for students in rural schools.Then,according to the situation of rural school students,the interactive video selection is determined and pre-analyzed,the teaching content and teaching methods are determined through the pre-analysis,and on the basis of the teaching analysis,the design and development of interactive video teaching examples for rural school students are carried out,the interactive video production process is conceived and the plot module is produced,and finally the interactive video is generated.Then,the traditional teaching and interactive video teaching were designed and implemented,and the two teaching effects were compared and experimented using the quasi-experimental method.The digital learning and innovation literacy level measurement scale was used to assess the learning effect,and the analysis of the assessment data showed that the use of interactive video teaching improved students’ digital learning and innovation literacy significantly compared with the use of traditional teaching.In addition,the analysis of students’ programming works and students’ final grades further illustrates the teaching advantages of interactive video.Finally,stratified interviews were conducted in the experimental classes where interactive video teaching was implemented to understand the effects of interactive video on digital learning and innovation literacy enhancement as well as the advantages and areas for improvement of interactive video teaching from students’ perspectives.Through the experimental tests in the above aspects,it shows that interactive video is effective in improving digital learning and innovation literacy of students in rural schools,and provides a teaching case for future digital learning and innovation literacy development of students in schools in rural areas.
