| The reform and improvement of the final subject test is an important part of reducing the burden of students. In August 2021,the Ministry of Education deployed to strengthen the management of examinations in compulsory education schools, clearly proposing that "no paper-and-pencil examinations will be conducted in the first and second grades of elementary school." In order to implement the national requirements, schools in many places actively carry out Non-paper-and-pen test as the final assessment for students in the lower grades. The novel format and interesting content have received widespread attention, but at the same time, some problems have been revealed that need to be solved.Non-paper-and-pen test is a way to design rich and colorful mathematical activities according to the characteristics of students’ learning and physical and mental development, and to comprehensively evaluate students’ abilities in all aspects through their performance in completing tasks. It makes up for the limitations of traditional paper-andpencil test, accords with the concept of developing core literacy in our country, and is the trend of the reform of mathematical evaluation methods. There are various forms of Nonpaper-and-pen tests in various schools. As a kind of innovative mathematical comprehensive practice,"Mathematics Trail" is a series of challenging tasks for teachers to design by making use of natural scenes or places arranged in the campus. It has the characteristics of realistic, practical, open, interesting and independent, and can provide real task situations for Non-paper-and-pen test on campus for students to solve life-related mathematical problems, not just limited to the classroom or books and test papers,in which the process can show students’ abilities in verbal expression, thinking logic, creative imagination,hands-on practice,etc.Non-paper-and-pen test is a way to evaluate students’ performance in mathematical activities, and what needs to be evaluated is also the demonstration of students’ abilities in the process of completing tasks.therefore, the "Mathematics Trail" meets the requirements and objectives of the Non-paper-and-pen test, and can effectively combine the two,so that the Non-paper-and-pen test can be more lifeoriented and integrated into the campus and students’ real life. This study takes C primary school in Chongqing as the object, uses questionnaires, interviews and other survey methods and case analysis methods to study the Non-paperand-pen test of the lower primary school based on the "Mathematics Trail" implemented by the case school, and reflects on its specific practice,so as to promote teachers ’ more comprehensive and systematic understanding of Non-paper-and-pen test, and can reasonably combine school-based resources for active and correct application, give full play to its advantages to make up for the shortcomings of current evaluation. This study mainly includes the following aspects :(1)This paper studies the related theories of Mathematics Trail and Non-paper-and-pen test, clarifies the meeting point between them, and on this basis, discusses the design idea and overall framework of non-paper-andpencil test based on "Mathematics Trail" : that is,the value orientation of students ’learning evaluation, the goal of mathematical learning evaluation, the design of Nonpaper-and-pen test tasks, the development and formulation of test scoring rules, the analysis and use of test evaluation results, etc.,so as to explore the people-oriented evaluation system, ensure its systematicness and standardization, and make it a scientific and effective evaluation method;(2)Based on the previous theoretical discussion, combined with the specific implementation of the Non-paper-and-pen final assessment carried out in the first grade of C primary school, this paper presents its practical form, and uses questionnaires and interviews to understand the feedback of parents and teachers on the Non-paper-and-pen test.Through the analysis of the survey results and the collected student performance information, the results achieved are clarified;(3)Through the reflection on the specific practice,it is found that the main problems and difficulties in the implementation of Non-paper-and-pen test in C primary school are as follows: the implementation cost of Non-paper-and-pen test is high, the reliability and validity of the test is difficult to guarantee, task design lacks hierarchy, and the analysis of evaluation results floating on the surface.Based on these problems and the ontology analysis of the evaluation method, this study believes that the reason behind the problem is that the Nonpaper-and-pen test itself has certain limitations and its implementation is more complicated, the use of school-based resources is limited, and the adaptability of students and teachers. Therefore, the suggestions for improvement are as follows.Teachers establish a correct evaluation view.Mining school-based resources to achieve evaluation of life.Joint parents to participate in testing activities.Build a core literacy-oriented evaluation system.Improve the innovation ability of Non-paper-and-pen test topics.rerecognizing the intrinsic value of the ’ Mathematics Trail’.Constructing the teaching mode of students as the main body.Innovate the design of homework inside and outside the classroom.Combining paper and pencil test with Non-paper-and-pen test.Improvements and refinements are constantly being made to maximise the educational value of Mathematics Trail and Non-paper-and-pen test. |
