In the context of curriculum reform in the new era,the new curriculum plan emphasizes the comprehensive and practical nature of the curriculum.The demand for cultivating students’ innovative spirit,practical ability and problem-solving ability in real situations is growing.In the education field,cultivating students’ comprehensive literacy through developing Maker Education is generally recognized and well-known.However,there is no unified curriculum standard for maker course,or most of them are implemented in the form of school-based curriculum.Many schools have enough equipment,but have no curriculum.Teachers have few teaching examples or guide plans.This study selects the We Do2.0 Lego block kit and combines the basic process of project-based learning,to design the teaching and learning of the elementary school maker curriculum,for providing theoretical and practical basis for implementing effective teaching activities,and improving its teaching effectiveness.The study is mainly composed of six parts.Chapter 1,Research Background and Significance.This chapter introduces the relevant research background,and analyzes the research status of Project-based Learning and Maker Education by combing domestic and international literature,and points out the current teaching dilemmas of creative curriculum for elementary school students,and puts forward research questions,research methods and research ideas.Chapter 2,Educational Theoretical Foundations and Conceptual Definitions.This chapter defines the relevant concepts of project-based learning,school-based curriculum,and creative literacy,the connotations and Characteristics of Constructionism theory,Multiple Intelligence theory,Discovery Learning theory,and Instructional Design theory were elaborated respectively to provide a theoretical basis for education and teaching in this study.Chapter 3,Based On The Teaching Framework of Project-based Learning For Elementary School Maker Course.In this chapter,based on the preliminary teaching analysis of the maker course,the teaching objectives and teaching contents of the school-based course of this study are determined based on the curriculum standards of information technology;the basic process of project-based learning is used as the teaching process,and the seven-step teaching process of elementary school maker course is constructed as the main framework;designed the course teaching evaluation method,which includes course satisfaction evaluation,maker literacy evaluation,process evaluation and work evaluation.Chapter 4,Teaching Practice and Cases.This chapter is to apply the design framework of the previous teaching process to specific cases for implementation,and two teaching cases of "Snail" and "Controlling Airplane" are selected for practice.Chapter 5,Analysis and Reflection on Teaching Effectiveness.This chapter analyzes the teaching effectiveness of the elementary school creative curriculum by using the collected creative literacy questionnaire,creative work evaluation scale,and teaching satisfaction as classroom data,summarizes the practical results as well as makes implementation suggestions,and justifies the research idea of this study.Chapter 6,Concludes This Study.This chapter points out the shortcomings of this study and the next steps to be carried out.Innovation: Firstly,a seven-step teaching process for project-based learning elementary school creative curriculum is designed to provide front-line teachers with an actionable teaching process;secondly,we designed two teaching cases based on the framework,namely,"Snail" and "Manipulating Airplane",for practice,to provide an operable teaching process for project-based learning primary school-based Creative Curriculum.Third,we designed a comprehensive teaching evaluation method,such as evaluation of creators’ works,evaluation of creators’ literacy and satisfaction of curriculum teaching,to verify the effectiveness of this teaching framework in improving elementary school students’ creators’ ability and quality,such as practical inquiry ability,teamwork consciousness,willingness to share,and spirit of innovation and creativity,The spirit of innovation and creativity.
