Maker education is one of the effective ways to cultivate innovative talents which bases on the education of creative learning.Maker education aims at cultivating students' manipulative and practical abilities,especially the abilities of innovate and creative materialization among students.It develops the innovative thinking,creative spirit,manipulative and practical abilities among students.Thus it has become an innovative and comprehensive way of education in primary and secondary school education.Nowadays,Maker Education is gradually normalized in the school-based curriculum of primary schools,but the primary school Maker education faces a lot of challenges including imperfect faculty,lacking of education space and resources and so forth,which has a bad effect in the developing of Maker Education.This paper took G City F Elementary School as example to make a deep research which reflected the current situation of maker education in primary school.The thesis aims to provide some perspectives to contribute to the continuous development of maker education.First and foremost,to learn about the core concept of maker and maker education and have a knowledge of the current status of the implementation of Maker Education and the specific content of the research,it takes up pursuing the origin of theoretical maker education,the conditions for the development of maker education,the development status of maker education,the model of maker education,the characteristics of maker education,and so on.In addition,according to the practical means of interviews,observations and other methods to conduct a practical investigation of the Creativity Education of F Elementary School,it draws a conclusion that the teachers of F Elementary School are mainly educational technology majors,and the resources of Creativity Education are insufficient and the types are single which exposes many shortcomings: the lack of competent and comprehensive teachers,the student lack of sense of independency and self-control,the insufficient space resources,the lack of making full use of existing resource and the improper management,etc.when it comes some teaching cases,it also exposes another problems such as single teaching skills and the weakening of the creation function.Among these problems,the researchers analyzed the reasons from teachers,students,Maker education resources and teaching guidance.Last but not least,to deal with the basic situation and problems of the implementation of Maker education in F primary school,it provides four measures in the following.The first comes the construction of teaching staff,school integrates the multidisciplinary teachers,expands the sources of teachers,and builds a source of different sources and different professions.The second is teachers should combine online with offline resources to enhance the ability of subject integration and pay more attention to the dynamics of the frontier of the makers to update the concept.The third is about the development of students,it is supposed to cultivate students' habits of "thinking" to the habit of “behaving” in order to form the oriented functions of thinking on the one hand,it is expected to create more chances to have sharing,communicating,cooperating among the teachers and students on the other hand.The last one is about the curriculum resources,the school should integrate existing resources to increase the frequency of use of resources,and the implement responsibility for resource management should load on the individual teachers.In the teaching aspect,schools should create an attractive innovation atmosphere and a learning community as well as the project exploration to integrate various forms of teaching methods.To pay attention teaching and connecting with real life,and turning the problems in life into inquiry projects to provide students with more opportunities for creation.
