Current political material is an important learning resource in ideological and political discipline in high school,which can effectively make up for the lag of teaching materials,and is conducive to students using the knowledge they have learned to solve practical problems and cultivate the core quality of the discipline.Topic-based teaching can effectively change the teaching mode.It is to make students learn knowledge and exercise their ability in participating in activities through the determination,introduction,discussion and sublimation of the topics.It is a critical inheritance and innovation of the traditional teaching mode.This article under the guidance of the new curriculum standard,the current politics material in high school education courses topic type teaching,through around the textbook content reference current politics material,set issues,leading students to actively participate in discussion,in the activities to achieve learning goals,is conducive to play to the student’s principal position,cultivate students’ ability of autonomous learning and cooperative inquiry,make them really become the builders of knowledge learning,to realize the unity of knowledge and khalid ents,the all-round development of students have positive significance.Through literature combing and research found that the current politics material in high school education course topic teaching process although has achieved certain results,but there are some shortcomings: teachers of the current politics issues setting is not appropriate,the use of current politics material form lack of flexibility,the participation of low students to current politics teaching activities,the issue teaching classroom evaluation is not reasonable.The main reasons are: teachers ’ability to set current political issues is insufficient,the level of using current political materials is not high,students’ group cooperative learning ability is not strong,and the evaluation mechanism in topic teaching is single.According to the problems and reasons,the author puts forward the corresponding optimization strategy from four aspects,namely,enhance the current political issues setting ability,constantly optimize ideological classroom,flexible use of current politics material,for issue type classroom vitality,carefully organize learning activities,improve students ’classroom participation,establish the current political material evaluation system,promote students’ all-round development.Taking the ninth lesson of compulsory high school 3 "People abiding by the Law" as an example,specific teaching case design is made,which provides practical reference for the better application of current political materials in the topic teaching of ideological and political courses in high school.
