| Accelerating the application of information technology and advocating learning based on all-media resources is one of the party’s education guidelines and policies in the new era.As a typical representative of multimedia resources,short videos integrate vision and hearing,and can effectively stimulate students’ interest in learning with their novelty and interest.At present,short videos have been widely used in classroom teaching,especially in classroom introduction.However,it should be pointed out that teachers still have insufficient understanding of how to use short videos to carry out course introduction to improve the effect of classroom teaching,the key is that there are many factors affecting short video import,and the quality,content,duration and teacher activities of the selected short videos will affect the teaching effect.This paper aims to sort out the research status of short video import in geography classroom,define the relevant concepts of short video import,investigate the application status and existing problems of short video import in geography classroom,and design a case of short video import in geography classroom.The study mainly draws the following conclusions:(1)After investigating the current introduction methods of geography classrooms,it is found that:(1)Most geography classrooms use short video import,and the classroom atmosphere using short video import is better than that of unused classrooms.(2)The frequency of using short video import in new lectures is much higher than that of review courses.(3)The short videos selected for the classroom using short video import are mostly within 3 minutes.(2)Through the analysis of teacher questionnaires,it is found that:(1)Most middle school geography teachers agree with the introduction of short videos,believing that short video imports have a certain positive effect on improving the effectiveness of classroom teaching,and will consciously use short videos to import into the classroom,and the higher the age,the lower the recognition of short video import.(2)Among the many factors affecting the effect of short video import,most teachers believe that the type,content and students’ learning interest of short videos play a significant role.(3)Through the analysis of student questionnaires,it was found that:(1)Most students are most interested in the short video import method,and hope that teachers will continue to use short video import in future classrooms.(2)In terms of application status,most students think that their teachers will consciously use short video import in geography classes.(3)In terms of application effect,short video import can quickly attract students’ attention to the classroom,stimulate students’ interest in learning,enable students to understand learning tasks,and discover new and old knowledge.(4)Summarizing the survey results,the author also found that there are the following problems in the current introduction of short videos in high school geography classrooms:(1)Teachers’ theoretical understanding of the use of video resources for teaching is insufficient;(2)There are fewer channels for obtaining short videos;(3)The processing technology of short videos is limited;(4)The short video time is too long;(5)The selected short video does not match the teaching content well;(6)"Tiger head and snake tail" type import.(5)The empirical research results of short video import show that:(1)short video import has a significant impact on the teaching effect of geography classroom,which can quickly attract students’ attention to the classroom,improve students’ interest in learning,and then improve the effect of classroom teaching;(2)The quality of short video import also affects the teaching effect,and the classroom teaching effect is relatively good for lessons with high scores on the short video import evaluation scale;(3)The total duration of short video import should be controlled within 3 minutes as much as possible;(4)The quality and content of short videos and students’ feedback on short video import are important factors affecting the effect of short video import.(6)Based on the existing problems and empirical research on the introduction of short videos,it is believed that teachers should improve in the following aspects:(1)The selected short videos should closely focus on the requirements of course standards,teaching objectives and teaching content;(2)The selected short videos should be interesting,scientific and contemporary;(3)Pay attention to the quality of short videos when selecting;(4)Improve the ability to process and process short videos;(5)Control the duration of short video import;(6)Teachers connect with nature and guide properly;(7)Strengthen the connection between short video introduction and other teaching links. |
