| As more and more international students enter our country to study,the main contradiction in the education of Chinese international students has gradually changed from scale expansion to connotation development and quality improvement.The learning adaptability of international students in China is a primary indicator and key quality that affects the academic performance and learning effect of international students in the process of studying in China.The quality of the learning effect and academic performance of the international students in China is good or not,and the learning adaptability of the international students in China the level is very closely related.The purpose of this research is to investigate and analyze the learning adaptability of international students in China,and explore feasible countermeasures and suggestions for improving the learning adaptability of international students in China.This study uses questionnaire surveys and interviews to take international students from China University of Petroleum(East China)as the main survey subjects.The selfcompiled "Questionnaire on the Adaptability of International Students in China" is used to survey 230 international students from 54 countries.A questionnaire survey was launched,a database was established,and SPSS 25.0 software was used for statistical analysis of data.On the basis of mathematical analysis,a one-on-one interview was conducted with 10 international students in China.The investigation was conducted from both macro and micro perspectives.The study adaptation of Chinese students.The study found that the overall learning adaptability of international students in China is relatively good,but the various dimensions of learning adaptability present unevenness.The learning adaptability level of each dimension is learning objectives,learning attitude,learning ability,campus environment,and classroom in descending order.Teaching,interpersonal interaction.There are significant differences in the learning adaptability of international students of different ages,majors,Chinese proficiency,continental origin,teaching language and student categories.The learning adaptability of international students who are 25 years old and above is better than that of those who are under 25 years old;the learning adaptability of science and engineering majors is better than that of humanities and social sciences,and better than that of Chinese majors;those of different Chinese levels come to China The learning adaptability of international students in descending order is HSK level 3,HSK level 4,HSK level 5 and HSK level 6.The academic adaptability level of international students from different continents in China is South America,Oceania,Africa,and Asia in descending order.And Europe;English-taught international students in China have a higher learning adaptability level than Chinese-taught international students;Ph D,master,and undergraduate students have significant differences in their learning adaptability levels in all dimensions;foreign students of different genders come to China There is no significant difference in learning adaptability.In response to the problems of foreign students in various dimensions of learning adaptability,through indepth interviews with 10 foreign students in China,the specific reasons for the problems were explored.Based on this,starting from correcting learning attitudes,establishing learning goals,improving learning ability,optimizing the campus environment,improving classroom teaching,and strengthening interpersonal interaction,the learning adaptability of international students in China has been continuously improved. |
