With the Chinese language curriculum reform deepening,the promulgation of the Chinese Language Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)provides a series of new ideas and guidance suggestions for language teaching.In the organization of classroom content under the umbrella of learning task clusters,the role of project-based teaching in language teaching has become more prominent.Project-based teaching improves the current situation of fragmented reading teaching,superficial reading of masterpieces,and low efficiency of whole book reading,and gives full play to its integrative advantages to promote students’ independent exploration of reading methods and advancement of thinking in continuous and consistent reading and practical activities of inquiry into typical language subject issues.As the first famous book recommended by the textbook for students to read when they enter the junior high school level,the selection of "Dawn Blossoms Plucked at Dusk" has been an important part of the secondary language textbook and an important area for teaching and learning discussion.The rich content and ideological content of the book is very suitable for conducting seminars,promoting students’ thinking and understanding from different perspectives,and constructing a way to read the whole book.Therefore,this study aims to provide practical and effective implementation strategies for the teaching and learning of "Dawn Blossoms Plucked at Dusk" in junior high school,and to improve the current teaching dilemma by using the curriculum model of project teaching.The paper focuses on the following aspects.The first chapter cuts through the value of teaching the topic of "Dawn Blossoms Plucked at Dusk" in junior high school,Under the guidance of the new curriculum,the practical value of using the project-based teaching mode to carry out the reading teaching is mainly reflected in the effective implementation of the whole book reading task group practice,the realization of the new teacher-student relationship,the integration of teaching resources,the reconstruction of teaching content,and the promotion of deep-level Chinese language practice activities.The use of the whole book as the core teaching content also shows new values,including leading students to explore personalized reading methods,constructing the experience of reading the whole book,allowing students to enter Lu Xun,enriching their knowledge of Lu Xun,grasping Lu Xun’s essay style as a whole,and understanding other writings of Lu Xun.The second chapter uses questionnaires and interview surveys to analyze the current situation of teaching the topic of "Dawn Blossoms Plucked at Dusk",summarize the problems and their causes,and find that students lack driving learning motivation and learning autonomy,teachers are negligent in organizing process teaching feedback and evaluation,insufficient curricularization of project-based teaching,and a systematic topic model with the whole book as the core has not been formed.The third chapter explores the implementation strategies about the project-based teaching of "Dawn Blossoms Plucked at Dusk" in junior high school based on the current problems.The first is to clarify the concept of teaching design,which is to follow the four levels of teaching objectives with students’ literacy enhancement as the core,adopt the teaching method of combining independent reading and classroom seminars,plan the overall systematic teaching chain,and set realistic contextualized reading tasks and practical activities.The next step is to form a study topic around the content of the whole book,establish the content of the topic teaching,and prepare for teaching.On this basis,we construct a project-based teaching implementation plan,and project-based teaching with five sections: introduction to the book,thematic inquiry,in-depth discussion,thematic writing,and display of results,and explain the activities and task design under each section with typical cases.Finally,it is to explore how to design a scientific,systematic and effective evaluation system,in terms of principles and criteria of evaluation,evaluation methods in each stage of project-based teaching and development of evaluation tools.
