Summer training is the golden period of improve athletes’ physical fitness reserves.,The Department of competitive sports issued the notice of "General Office of the General Administration of Sports on Further Strengthening Basic Physical Training to Make Up for Physical Shortcomings" on February 27,2020,.which further improved the physical training work requirements for the national team.Freestyle ski cross is an emerging snow sport in Beijing Winter Olympic Games.This paper analyzes and summarizes the summer physical training program and data of the Chinese freestyle ski cross national team,explores the effectiveness of the summer training plan during the preparation period and summarizes experience,so as to improve the scientific level,pertinence and effectiveness of physical training for freestyle obstacle chase athletes in China,as well as enrich the theory and practice system of physical training content of obstacle chase.This paper uses expert interview method,follow-up observation method,test method,mathematical statistics method and other research methods to study and analyze the training content,training methods,on the basis of combining the project characteristics and special requirements,training load,biochemical monitoring and physical performance before and after summer training of six athletes of China’s team of freestyle ski cross during the preparation for the Winter Olympics,and the research conclusions and suggest shown as follows:Conclusions :(1)In the basic physical fitness test before summer training,there is a big gap between domestic athlete and the world’s outstanding athletes in terms of anaerobic exercise ability,maximum strength and muscle explosiveness.Moreover,domestic athletes have left and right muscle strength imbalance in the characteristics of knee joint muscle strength.(2)The summer training of the freestyle obstacle chase of Chinese national team in preparation for the 2021 Beijing Winter Olympics can be divided into three period,namely the preparation period,the strengthening period and the maintenance period.The summer training is mainly based on land-based basic physical fitness,,and focusing on the development of athletes’ maximum strength,while developing balance,lower limb explosiveness,flexibility and stability.The overall training load during the summer training period showed a "mountain-style" change,the strengthening period load>intensive period load> preparation period load.(3)According to the monitoring results of summer training period,the CK and BU values of some athletes in the summer training period will be higher than the normal standard values in the intensive period.(4)Through the comparison of athletes performance before and after summer training,it was found that the results of athletes’ upper limb strength,lower limb strength,speed quality,and physical function were significantly improved compared with those before summer training,and the test results of athletes after summer training were significantly improved compared with those before summer training.It shows that this summer physical training program is scientific and effective.Suggestions:(1)Focus on improving the anaerobic exercise capacity,upper and lower limb and core strength and dynamic weight-bearing balance of athletes,emphasizing the importance of small muscle group training while focusing on weak side muscle strength training to reduce the occurrence of sports injuries.(2)Promote the diversification and innovation of training methods and means of summer training physical training classes,such as drawing on the training programs of high-level foreign sports teams to promote the transformation of athletes’ physical training results to special performance and achieve the best training effect.(3)focus on team physical training,body nutrition,and injury rehabilitation integration construction,regular assessment of athletes for nutrition and mental health testing,scientific and reasonable training,training more efficient.(4)strengthen the scientific research of freestyle ski cross project,give full play to the advantages of the national team scientific research team,with training to support scientific research,scientific research results feed training,out of an independent project development road.
