| Research purpose: Improving the physical education literacy of teenagers is currently a critical aspect of sports education and sports development in our country.As school leaders,the degree of attention given by principals to school sports and sports activities directly affects the quality of physical education classes and sports activities,which in turn has a positive or negative impact on the physical health of students.Therefore,it is necessary to conduct a correlational study between the physical education attitude of principals and the physical education literacy of students.By understanding the principals’ cognition,attitude,and behavior towards physical education,as well as the students’ level of physical education literacy,the correlation between the physical education attitude of principals and the physical education literacy of students can be found.This can provide a scientific and effective basis and measures for improving the physical education literacy of students and enhancing the lifelong sports awareness of young people.Research Methods: This study adopts research methods such as literature review,questionnaire survey,testing,mathematical statistics,and logical analysis to analyze the correlation between principals’ sports attitudes and students’ sports literacy during the compulsory education stage in Jiangxi Province.According to the economic and social development status of each county(city,district)in Jiangxi Province,stratified sampling is conducted based on the principle of covering all districts and cities.In540 primary and secondary schools in 27 counties(cities,districts)in 11 districts and cities across the province,unified monitoring of the physical literacy of fourth and eighth grade students across the province was carried out,and a questionnaire survey was conducted on the principals of sample schools.327 primary school principals’ sports attitude questionnaires and 213 junior high school principals’ sports attitude questionnaires were collected;There are 11434 primary school sports literacy questionnaires and 7876 junior high school sports literacy questionnaires.Pearson correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis are used to analyze the data.The results of the results:(1)The sports attitude of primary school and junior high school principals in Jiangxi Province was 79.24 ± 8.31,78.20 ± 9.47,respectively,of which the highest was the value judgment index,the value judgment of primary school and junior high school principals was 94.70± 5.57,94.26±5.82,the lowest was the direct participation index,and the direct participation of primary and junior high school principals was 68.26± 13.87,63.73±14.10,respectively.(2)The physical literacy of primary and junior high school students in Jiangxi Province was 66.23± 13.01,60.28±11.22,respectively,of which the highest was the physical fitness level index,the physical fitness level index of primary and junior high school was 82.72 ± 7.17,82.34 ± 8.08,and the lowest was the physical cognition index,and the physical cognition of primary and junior high school was54.72± 22.57,50.49±19.21,respectively.(3)There was a significant correlation between the physical education attitude of primary school principals and the physical literacy of primary school students in Jiangxi Province(p<0.01),with a correlation coefficient of 0.258,and a very significant correlation between the physical attitude of junior high school principals and the physical literacy of junior high school students(p<0.01),with a correlation coefficient of 0.386.Most of the dimensions of primary and junior high school principals’ physical education attitudes are significantly correlated with the dimensions of physical literacy of primary and junior high school students.(4)Regression analysis showed that the value judgment,direct participation and work emotional experience of primary school principals in Jiangxi Provi nce were the factors affecting the physical literacy of primary school students,and the direct participation and indirect participation of junior high school prin cipals in Jiangxi Province were factors affecting the physical literacy of junior high school students.The regression equation of physical literacy of primary sc hool students in Jiangxi Province is: Y=10.688+0.216*X1+0.019*X2+0.106*X3+0.079*X4+0.053*X5+0.152*X6;The regression equation of physical literacy for junior high school students in Jiangxi Province is: Y=78.686-0.018*X1+0.003*X2+0.027*X3+0.038*X4+0.008*X5+0.004*X6,where Y represents students’ phy sical literacy,X1 represents the principal’s value judgment,X2 represents the principal’s school sports understanding,X3 represents the principal’s direct participation,X4 represents the principal’s indirect participation,X5 represents the principal’s personal emotional experience,and X6 represents the principal’s work emotional experience.The study conclusions:(1)The principals of primary and junior high schools in Jiangxi Province had a positive attitude towards sports,among which the value judgment score was the highest and the direct participation score was the lowest,indicating that the principal’s attitude towards sports mainly stayed at the cognitive level and the physical practice was poor.(2)The physical literacy of primary and junior high school students in Jiangxi Province has reached the level above the qualified level,of which the physical fitness level is the best and the lowest is sports cognition.(3)The dimensions of the sports attitude of primary and junior high school principals in Jiangxi Province are basically related to the dimensions of physical literacy of primary and junior high school students.(4)Regression analysis shows that the direct participation of primary school and junior high school principals in Jiangxi Province is a common factor af fecting the physical literacy of primary and junior high school students,and the value judgment and work emotional experience of primary school principals are factors affecting primary school physical literacy,and the indirect participation of junior high school principals is a factor affecting the physical literacy of junior high school students. |
