The Present Situation,Characteristics And Enlightenment Of Special Grade Teachers’ Professional Core Literacy

In recent years,with the deepening of core literacy theory research,teachers ’professional core literacy has also been paid attention to,but the research on the professional core literacy of special-grade teachers has not yet been seen.As a model of teachers,a model of education and an expert in teaching,special-grade teachers can play a leading and exemplary role in primary and secondary school teachers.How is their professional core literacy level ? What are the characteristics ? Does the growth of its professional core literacy have implications for ordinary teachers ?These problems are worthy of our attention and research.This study comprehensively uses literature method,investigation method,statistical method,comparative method and other research methods,takes 218special-grade teachers in Jiangxi Province as the research object,and compares them with 800 ordinary teachers ’ professional core literacy,and draws the following conclusions :(1)The professional core literacy of special-grade teachers is generally at an excellent level.According to the survey data,the average total score of the professional core literacy of special-grade teachers in Jiangxi Province is 5.40 points.From the first-level index of the professional core literacy of special-grade teachers,the teaching ability is 5.54 points,the character cultivation is 5.53 points,and the knowledge cultivation is 5.15 points.In this study,Likert ’s 6-point scoring was used.According to the level of the scale,it was between ’ relatively consistent ’ and ’ fully consistent ’,and both exceeded 5.1 points.It can be seen that the professional core literacy of special-grade teachers in Jiangxi Province is generally at an excellent level,which also meets the requirements and definitions of special-grade teachers.(2)There are differences in professional core literacy between different special-grade teachers and ordinary teachers.Different special-grade teachers will have differences in professional core literacy due to factors such as their region,gender,age,teaching age,educational background,teaching courses,teaching grades,weekly teaching volume,whether they are class teachers,whether they are recognized,and whether they are administrative positions.There are significant differences in special-grade teachers in different regions;male teachers are better than female teachers;the level of professional core literacy increases with the increase of teaching age and age,and tends to be stable after 40 years old.The special-grade teachers with bachelor ’s degree are better than those with master ’s degree;the professional core literacy level of special-grade teachers in primary school is the highest;the level of special-grade teachers who have received national recognition is the highest;the special grade teachers who serve as class teachers are better than those who do not serve as class teachers.From the comparison with the professional core literacy of ordinary teachers,among the 800 ordinary teachers randomly selected,the professional core literacy evaluation score is 4.85,which is a good level,and there is a significant difference from the score of 5.1 of the special teachers.Among them,there are 0.63,0.56 and0.47 gaps in the three first-level indicators of character cultivation,teaching ability and knowledge cultivation from high to low,and the gap between the two first-level indicators exceeds 0.5,with significant differences.(3)The professional core literacy of special-grade teachers has distinct characteristics.The survey shows that the professional core literacy of special-grade teachers has the following characteristics : focusing on balanced development and comprehensive core literacy;pay attention to cultivate character,enhance the spiritual realm;extensive reading of literature,profound knowledge;continuous improvement of teaching,teaching level;enhance scientific research ability and promote self-reflection.The enlightenment of the research on the professional core literacy of special-grade teachers is : to give full play to the demonstration and leading role of special-grade teachers,teachers should comprehensively improve their professional core literacy,and schools should provide a good environment for teachers’ professional development.
