| The “literacy integration’’ is the comprehensive answer to the “What kind of academic ability should a history course cultivate?’’.It aims to Cultivate a comprehensive development of the five core competencies of the history subject,which is characterized by balance,wholeness,relevance,and integration.The core accomplishment of the historical discipline is regarded as the guiding idea of deepening the historical education teaching in the new period,and it is an important embodiment of comprehensively implementing the educational policy of the Party.The five core characteristics of the history discipline,however,are frequently separated and isolated in middle school history instruction because teachers lack a thorough understanding of the meaning of these characteristics,the content of history textbooks is lacking,and the methods of instruction chosen are ineffective.This contradicts the current educational philosophy of developing well-rounded individuals.This paper uses the tenets of "history is human learning" in history,"wholeness" in pedagogy,"people-oriented" in psychology,and "all-round development of humans" in Marxism as the theoretical foundation to build a history education system in which the five core qualities of the history discipline develop in an all-round manner.To encourage the majority of history educators to establish the educational concept of "integration of qualities," emphasize the integration of "integration degree" and "education degree" of history education,and construct an organic overarching framework for history education,this paper makes several teaching suggestions from the perspectives of teaching concept and professional support.to fulfill the fundamental task of fostering virtues and cultivating individuals,and to create the special educational role that history education plays. |
