| Nowadays,the new curriculum reform is in full swing,and the trend of curriculum diversification is accelerating.Local governments and schools have obtained the decision-making power for elective courses.In this context,school-based curriculum development has received further attention.High school physics learning focuses on students’ understanding of physical situations,analysis of physical processes,and construction of physical models.Therefore,students may find it difficult to learn physics,leading to a gradual loss of interest in physics learning.Therefore,under the premise of the new curriculum reform,this article aims to develop a high school physics school-based curriculum based on the principle of "physics magic",in order to improve students’ interest in physics learning and core literacy in physics,broaden their scientific and technological horizons,and cultivate their active exploration ability.This article first reviews the relevant literature on school-based curriculum development and magic physics,providing a theoretical basis for the writing of this paper.Secondly,through a questionnaire survey,the author analyzes the students’ needs and the actual situation of the No.1 Middle School in Xinjian District,Nanchang City.Based on the survey results,the objectives,content,teaching strategies and methods,and course evaluation methods of school-based courses were clarified,and a set of teaching resources was developed and designed.Finally,taking the First Middle School in Xinjian District,Nanchang City as an example,the curriculum practice was carried out.The practical content was to carry out a one-semester school-based curriculum implementation with senior sophomores as the teaching objects.The specific form of implementation was the optional courses for each Monday class hour.We also use a combination of daily learning evaluation and summary evaluation to evaluate students’ academic performance,as well as a questionnaire survey to understand students’ evaluation of the curriculum,in order to test the effectiveness of the implementation of the high school "physics magic" school-based curriculum.The research results show that students have a high recognition of physical magic.However,the awareness of actively exploring the hidden principles behind physical phenomena is not strong.Due to the large amount of physics teaching content in senior high schools,teaching in the physics classroom cannot maximize the cultivation of students’ core physical literacy.Therefore,it is necessary to carry out the school-based curriculum of "Physical Magic" in high schools.After carrying out this course,it has had a positive impact,promoting students’ core physical literacy,improving their enthusiasm for learning physics,and their ability to explain physical phenomena in life.Therefore,this study conducted a high school "physics magic" school-based curriculum,which has certain feasibility and effectiveness,and can provide certain reference for the practice of other physics teachers. |
