| College students are the reserve of outstanding talents in the country, and they can use their knowledge to create wealth for society. However,in recent years, social and family pressures have made the health status of college students not optimistic.Among them, mental health problems are becoming more frequent.Improper handling of interpersonal relationships can lead to emotional anxiety and psychological problems.Under stressful circumstances, college students often search for mental health information to regulate their emotions and relieve stress.Based on the above background, this article uses qualitative research methods, with reference to theoretical concepts related to information search behavior in information science, and focuses on exploring various information search characteristics of college students in interpersonal stress situations,as well as factors that will be considered when selecting channels,in order to establish models and enrich relevant theoretical content.According to the research results, multiple subjects proposed corresponding measures to alleviate interpersonal pressure among college students and ensure psychological health.By drawing on the theoretical results of numerous relevant literature and combining research purposes,a semi structured interview outline was developed.Using a purposive approach, evaluate whether the interviewees have psychological health information searching behavior under interpersonal pressure, ensure that the interviewees can provide the necessary information, conduct face-to-face in-depth interviews with the research subjects to obtain data, and then code the data in strict accordance with grounded theoretical methods, interspersed with the research ideas of the key event method.Finally,24 college students were interviewed as sample subjects, and then the interview content was converted into text for three-level coding.Finally,65 basic concepts,8 main categories, and 2 core categories were obtained. The study found that under interpersonal pressure, college students’ psychological health information search motivation mainly includes direct and indirect motivation, and information search channels mainly include online network channels,in addition to book channels, individual or group channels, and psychiatrist channels. In online network channels, college students often use the Zhihu Q&A community, while they pay less attention to professional health platforms. The search content of college students’ mental health information presents diversity.Search results are not always beneficial.Personal subject factors, information object factors, search environment factors, and confidentiality factors can affect their search behavior, with information object factors occupying the main position. The personal subject factor is an internal driving force, while the search environment factor is an external driving force.Based on the sensitivity and specificity of interpersonal stress situations, confidentiality factors run through the entire channel and process of information search behavior. This is also a unique attribute that research emphasizes in interpersonal stress situations. The search behavior of college students is a non-linear process, specifically including starting, selecting, outputting, accepting, evaluating, screening, and ending. And then use the useful information.Due to the uncertainty of search results and the differences in cognitive level of search individuals, there may be two or more information searches. |
