| Under the background of core literacy,schools are required to cultivate students’ core literacy through teaching,and the cultivation of students’ core literacy needs to be carried by specific subjects.Mathematics,as an essential subject in basic education,should shoulder the responsibility of cultivating students’ core literacy.Mathematics problem solving is one of the necessary skills for students in the 21 st century,and it is also the important purpose and main way of learning mathematics.As a subject to cultivate thinking,mathematics learning should enable students to master basic knowledge and basic skills on the basis of a certain mathematical problem solving ability.To cultivate students’ mathematical problem solving ability is to implement the spirit of mathematics curriculum standard and to respond to teaching under the background of literacy.To cultivate students’ ability to solve mathematical problems should start from children,and primary schools should assume this responsibility as the basis of basic education.Students’ problem solving ability is often implicit and needs to be made explicit through carefully designed measurement and evaluation.Under the guidance of relevant theories,this paper adopts a comprehensive evaluation system that combines quantitative and qualitative methods to measure the development of students’ problem-solving ability,mainly by questionnaire,interview,classroom observation and work analysis.Research in kaifeng F primary school,for example,in four grade this special period as the research object,the study of F primary school class three,grade four,in order to understand the present situation of mathematical problem solving ability,and combining with the students and teachers’ interview data,analysis of the reasons for the existing problems,targeted put forward the countermeasures to improve the effect of cultivating students’ ability to solve mathematical problems.This paper is mainly divided into the following six parts,the specific research ideas and contents are as follows:The first part,introduction.This paper mainly discusses the origin and value of the research,the review of literature at home and abroad,the theoretical basis,and the definition of the core concepts of problem solving ability and mathematical problem solving ability respectively,and introduces the key points and innovations of this research.The second part,research design.This paper mainly discusses the research objectives,research objects,research content,and the research method used in this paper in detail,and points out the specific research ideas.The third part,the fourth grade students math problem solving ability analysis.By issuing questionnaires,students’ attitude,interest,methods and habits of problem solving are understood,and the external performance of students’ problem solving ability is analyzed with the help of examination paper analysis and classroom observation.The results of the questionnaire survey show that the students’ attitude towards the problem,the way of dealing with the problem and the quality of solving the problem are above average.The analysis results of students’ test papers and classroom observations show that students are weak in the ability to discover and propose problems,and perform well in the ability to analyze and solve problems,but there are still some problems.Students can use mathematical language for simple expression and communication,and there is a great space for improvement in the ability to examine and reflect on mathematics.On the whole,the questionnaire scores show that students have low scores in attitude towards problems and quality of problem solving,and the corresponding external performance of students’ mathematical problem solving ability is weak in the ability to discover and propose problems,mathematical language expression and communication ability,inspection and reflection ability.The fourth part,the fourth grade students mathematical problem solving ability of the existing problems and reasons analysis.Through the results of the third part of the survey,as well as the interview data of students and teachers,it is found that there are the following problems in the problem solving of grade four students :(1)they have confidence in solving mathematical problems,but their problem raising ability is weak;(2)The ability of some students to understand mathematical problem situations needs to be strengthened;(3)Lack of visual representation of the quantitative relationship in the topic;(4)Unable to identify the key information needed to solve the problem;(5)Lack of complete reflection on mathematical testing.Attributing the problems existing in students’ problem-solving ability :(1)teachers do not pay enough attention to the link of discovering and raising problems;(2)Limited by physical and mental characteristics of students,students lack of life experience;(3)Mathematics teachers lack diversified problem-solving strategies in classroom teaching;(4)The teaching of mathematics courses is not enough to cultivate students’ habit of evaluation and reflection.The fifth part,the fourth grade students mathematical problem solving ability improvement suggestions.Aiming at the above problems and their causes,and combining with the corresponding teaching theories,the teaching strategies of problem solving ability are put forward.When teaching problem solving,teachers should :(1)respect students’ dominant position and stimulate students’ learning enthusiasm;(2)Optimize classroom teaching and steadily improve students’ ability to deal with problems and situations;(3)Further strengthen information screening ability,guide students to master a variety of problem-solving strategies;(4)Starting from the lower grade,gradually make students form a good habit of math learning;(5)Clarify the connotation of mathematical problem solving and train students’ problem-solving ability through multiple channels.The sixth part is the conclusion.The conclusions obtained from the research are further summarized and combed.At the same time,the limitations of the research and the prospect of future. |
