With the further development of curriculum reform,each discipline has formulated disciplinary core literacy based on disciplinary nurturing values,which aims to help students form correct values and necessary character and key abilities through disciplinary teaching.In order to implement the cultivation of students’ disciplinary core literacy,this thesis focuses on the use of close reading in teaching high school contemporary prose under the disciplinary core literacy.Based on existing research,the thesis uses literature,questionnaires,interviews,and case studies to investigate the effectiveness of textual reading in teaching high school contemporary prose in front-line classrooms,helping students to improve their textual reading skills and develop their core literacy in language subjects.The first chapter of the thesis,the introductory part,consists of the significance of the selected topic,the reason for selecting the topic,the current situation of the study,and the research method.Through collecting and organizing relevant literature,the current situation of research on core literacy in language subjects is analyzed,and the use of prose teaching and close reading in contemporary prose is analyzed to lay the foundation for the subsequent research.Chapter 2 of the dissertation focuses on the meaning of core literacy and textual close reading in language subjects,as well as the characteristics of core literacy in language subjects and the principles of textual close reading,and discusses the relationship between the two;Chapter 3 analyzes the current situation of teaching contemporary prose under disciplinary core literacy from both teachers and students;Chapter 4,under the premise of developing students’ core literacy in language subjects,focuses on "content selection for close reading of texts","methods of close reading of texts",and "considerations when using close reading of texts " The three aspects of the strategies proposed;Chapter 5 takes "Autumn in the Old City" as an example to explore the practice and reflection of teaching close reading of contemporary prose texts in high school under the discipline’s core literacy,trying to present a complete design of teaching close reading of prose texts from pre-class preparation to classroom presentation to post-class reflection. |
