Work Description Of A Douyin Sports Account Entitled "Roller Skating Enthusiast"

With the popularity of social media and the constant updating of technology,the development of sports self-media has become increasingly sophisticated.Douyin is currently the short video platform with the highest daily active users,which brings many opportunities for the development of sports self media.Roller skating short videos started late and are developing very slowly,while the content quality is low,and the long-term development will have a negative impact on the image-building of roller skating.This creation aims to enrich the development of sports self-media and promote the sport of roller skating by operating the sports Jieyin self-media account "Roller Skating Enthusiast".Relying on the professional background of the creator,who is a national-level freestyle skater,this creation outputs aesthetic and pedagogical videos from the perspective of skating fans and athletes,helping more people understand roller skating while improving the professionalism of short skating videos.As of June 5,2023,"Roller Skating Enthusiast" has created four content collections and released 125 videos,including 117 original videos.The videos have received 6,300 followers,32,000 likes and a total of over 2 million views,with 50 videos with over 10,000 views.The "Meet 66 skaters,collaborate on 66 sets of combos " video series has attracted many imitators and participants.In addition,the instructional video series "Learn a set of combo in a minute",with its detailed explanation and demonstration,has received unanimous praise from the audience.This account will be operated for a long time in the hope that it can contribute to the spread of the sport of roller skating in a positive way.This article adopts a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods.Based on the author’s independent operation of the sports category Douyin account "Roller Skating Enthusiast",the situation of the account’s background,development process,basic situation,content optimization strategy,dissemination and promotion strategy are systematically introduced through statistical analysis of indicators such as video playback volume,user interaction,and fan contribution,as well as the study of cultural and commercial values.The operation mode of the sports category Douyin account is explained,and the existing problems and future development directions of the account are summarized.During the creative process,some content creation strategies and dissemination and promotion strategies applicable to sports self-media account operation were discovered and summarized,such as result-oriented editing methods,cooperation with peers in the same industry for promotion,and the establishment of online and offline interaction modes.The requirements for the Douyin sports-related creators are to have both professionalism and entertainment value.The videos created need to meet the characteristics of "short,flat,and fast" on the Douyin platform,and also need to have personal characteristics.It is hoped that this research can provide some reference and help for Douyin sports-related creators.
