With the change of the proposition situation and the dimension of examination, the study of regional geography is helpful to the development of geography teaching in senior high school. In the current college entrance examination, the form and content of geographical examination have changed to varying degrees, and new situations and questions design has become mainstream. Therefore, based on the core function of guiding teaching in the college entrance examination, studying the characteristics of regional geography test questions in the college entrance examination will help to clarify the key points and requirements of the college entrance examination, provide corresponding reference for the efficient promotion of high school geography teaching, and promote the development of students’ knowledge and ability.Develop and improve the construction of the core literacy training system.Firstly,in the face of the changing context of college entrance examination questions, both "teaching" and "examination" require higher-level conceptual guidance. The big idea provides a good solution. The "Curriculum Standards for Ordinary High School(2017 Edition)" requires the emphasis on taking the big idea as the core, guiding the subject content, contextualizing the course content, and promoting the implementation of the core literacy of the subject. As a cognitive structure, the big idea can reflect the connection between knowledge and form a channel between the two. With the help of the big idea, test questions can directly intervene in teaching from a high dimension, achieving the guidance of the college entrance examination in teaching. This paper takes the regional geography test questions of the college entrance examination as a guide, analyzes the characteristics of the test questions from the perspective of the big idea, and gives teaching suggestions from the perspective of the big idea based on the analysis results, and introduces the big idea into the high school geography teaching,in order to form an effective reform in the high school regional geography teaching method to promote the integrated development of teaching and testing.Secondly, the shackles and outlets of current high school geography teaching are analyzed.Although current high school teaching focuses on transfer and application, drawing inferences from one example to another, due to the lack of reference teaching methods,it is inevitable to slip into the quagmire of teaching "expert conclusions",resulting in contradictions in the construction of teaching-evaluation integration.Faced with this situation,my essay proposes that the teaching of big ideas is an effective way out.Afterwards, the concept and composition of the big idea are defined, and the significance and value of the big idea in regional geography teaching in senior high schools are expounded. And based on the process of learning and development,it expounds the extraction method of big ideas, and summarizes the seven most representative big ideas in the current high school regional geography through comparative analysis, induction and deduction of high school regional geography knowledge.Third, expounds the scope of regional geography test questions statistics, and through the definition of seven major concepts and regional geography test questions, the total score value of the test questions extracted from 13 sets of college entrance examination papers from 2018 to 2022 is 1362 points, and a total of 1362 points are included in the multiple choice questions.132 questions,37 comprehensive questions(including optional exams),122 small questions in total, and based on the characteristics of each major concept test question, from the changes in the number of examination scores, the structure of the four basic abilities of the college entrance examination, the examination scale, and the source of materials Etc.The test questions were evaluated.Fourth, through statistical analysis,it is found that the characteristics of the regional geography test questions of the college entrance examination are as follows:(1)The basic ability inspection is prominent, and the evaluation system of the college entrance examination is emphasized;(2)The small-scale regional physical geography has become the mainstream of the inspection;(4)Emphasize ecological civilization and respond to national construction;(5)Pay attention to the issues of agriculture, rural areas and farmers, and investigate the gradual transformation of industry and service industries, etc. And combined with the performance of each type of characteristics, select representative college entrance examination questions to display and analyze separately.Fifth, the article gives suggestions on "teaching" and "learning" in high school based on the characteristics of the regional geography examination questions in the college entrance examination.Teachers need to:(1)Actively research and change teaching methods;(2)Enhance the ability of curriculum development;(3)Pay attention to the teaching of methods for procedural and regular knowledge;(4)Use large unit teaching design, etc. And briefly elaborated on the relevant suggestions. It is recommended for students to develop the habit of observing and thinking about the representation of knowledge in real life, use mind maps to take notes, etc.,and demonstrate and
