In the new era,the young people’s physique is deeply concerned,therefore,our country has introduced a series of policies to promote and improve the level of the young people’s physique.In the health act(2030)in China,points out that in 2030 to achieve "national students physical health standard" the regulation level,big recess school sports activities in the school sports teaching of relatively important position,is a new form of school lesson hold,also can meet the most important ways of students to exercise an hour every day.At present,due to the influence of exam-oriented education,in the compulsory education of rural schools,schools and parents attach great importance to cultural courses,and students have great learning pressure.School physical education is not paid attention to,which affects the sports activities in the school during the break,and students’ participation is not high.Therefore,there are a lot of problems gradually exposed in recess physical activity.There are two points as follows: First,because recess physical activity has been impacted by traditional concepts and educational thinking for a long time,its significance and efficacy have not been fully brought into play.Second,because the lesson hold activities and less time,low amount of exercise,and form is monotonous,makes the students are not guaranteed in the usual sports exercise time,leading to the enthusiasm of the students are not active activities,sports activities and gradually to the big recess formed the boring,students in the big recess sports exercise effect is not significant.Appeared this kind of problem must first caught the attention of students,through cultivating students’ sports activities in big recess strong interest,and mobilize students’ initiative,make students really fell in love with the large time sports activities,sports activities so that our big recess in the teaching contents,forms,and activity design should be innovative,This paper mainly adopts the research methods of literature,interview,experiment and mathematical statistics,and takes 284 students from eight natural classes in Grade 5 and Grade 6 of Lidian Primary School and Shuangmiao Primary School in rural areas of Pingliang City as the research objects,in which 141 students from four classes are selected as the experimental group,and 143 students from four classes are selected as the control group.The experimental group and the control group have three big recess activities every week,and 12 weeks of experimental intervention is designed and implemented,Before and after the experiment,students’ physical health test scores(height,weight,vital capacity,one minute rope skipping,sitting forward bending,50 meter running)were different.The following results are obtained:1.Body shape: 12 week big break sports activities have no significant impact on the height and weight of pupils,(P >0.05)mainly because the intervention time is short.The height and weight of students in this period are mainly natural growth,but big break sports activities can be used as daily exercise to control body weight and maintain body shape.2.Physical function: The vital capacity of the pupils in the experimental group and the control group increased,with the increase of 179.53 ml for boys and 194.94 ml for girls in the experimental group,25.63 ml for boys and 76.19 ml for girls in the control group.On the whole,the vital capacity scores of the students in the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the students in the control group,which proved that the 12 week experimental group’s big break sports activities had a great effect on improving the vital capacity scores of primary school students,and the effects of strengthening the cardiopulmonary function and improving aerobic endurance of primary school students were more significant.3.Physical quality: After 12 weeks of big break sports activities,students’ coordination ability and speed quality can be effectively developed,but the effect on the development of primary school students’ strength quality and flexibility quality is not significant.From the growth of various indicators of the students after the experiment,the effect of big break sports activities in the experimental group on improving the physical quality of primary school students is more dominant.Conclusion:1.Before and after the experiment,the big break sports activities have no advantage in promoting the growth of pupils’ height,and have a certain role in controlling the growth of pupils’ weight.2.After 12 weeks of training,there is a difference between the two groups in the impact of sports activities on the students’ vital capacity.Among them,the experimental group has a more significant impact on strengthening the pupils’ cardiopulmonary function and improving aerobic endurance.3.After 12 weeks of training,the big break sports activities have a good development effect on the coordination and sensitivity of pupils,but the development effect of the experimental group is significantly higher than that of the control group.
