The Influence Of The Leadership Behavior Of Junior High School Football Coaches On The Self-determined Motivation Of Players In Lanzhou City

With the development of social psychological factors,an important topic,many scholars focus on the influence of coaches’ leadership behavior on team members’ motivation.The leadership behavior shown by coaches is the psychological relationship between coaches and players.Studying their leadership behavior is helpful for coaches to take active and effective leadership,and mobilize players to engage in training and competition by means of organization,communication and motivation,so as to improve players’ performance ability,satisfaction and motivation autonomy in training,so as to improve the training effect.This paper takes the influence of football coaches’ leadership behavior on players’ self-determined motivation of junior high school football coaches in Lanzhou as the research object.By using the method of literature,questionnaire,mathematical statistics and structural equation model,this paper examines the demographic difference and correlation between the leadership behavior of junior high school football coaches in Lanzhou and the players’ self-determined motivation,basic psychological needs and self-efficacy,as well as the mediating effect of the influence of the coaches’ leadership behavior on the players’ self-determined motivation Did the research.The main research conclusions are as follows:1.The players of different genders,grades and training years showed significant differences in the training and coaching behavior of coaches,the degree of perception of democratic behavior and the establishment of self-efficacy of players.Meanwhile,the satisfaction of competency needs,internal motivation,identity adjustment,internal adjustment and external adjustment were affected by gender difference and training years difference respectively.2.Coaches’ training and guidance behavior,democratic behavior,social support behavior and positive feedback behavior can significantly positively predict self-determination motivation,basic psychological needs and self-efficacy.Autocratic behavior can significantly negatively predict self-determination motivation,basic psychological needs and self-efficacy.The satisfaction of basic psychological needs has a significant positive effect on self-determination motivation.The higher the sense of self-efficacy,the higher the degree of self-determination motivation.3.Coaches’ training and guidance behavior,democratic behavior,social support behavior and positive feedback behavior can directly and significantly positively affect players’ self-determination motivation,while autocratic behavior can directly and significantly negatively affect self-determination motivation.Basic psychological needs and self-efficacy,as parallel double mediators,play a complete mediating role in the influence of coaches’ training and guidance behavior,democratic behavior and positive feedback behavior on players’ self-determination.Self-efficacy partially mediates the effect of autocratic behavior on self-determination motivation,but the indirect effect of basic psychological needs is not significant in this mediation model.Self-efficacy plays a complete mediating role in the influence of coaches’ social support behavior on self-determination motivation,while the indirect effect of basic psychological needs is not significant in this mediation model.
