Research On The Guidance Of College Students’ Online Public Opinion In The Digitalage

Entering the digital era,the rapid development of digital technology has provided great convenience to people’s lives,and realized the efficient dissemination of information "one network knows the world".The popularity of the Internet and the extensive online participation of the public have spawned the phenomenon of online public opinion.Emergencies,domestic and foreign hot spots,social and livelihood issues,etc.,are easy to cause online public opinion.Especially in recent years,some negative online public opinions affecting social stability and harmony have occurred from time to time,making the governance of online public opinion an important part of public management.College students have active thoughts,strong curiosity,and high attention to social hot spots.The participation of students’ network users makes the governance of online public opinion more complicated.If the online public opinion of college students is improperly guided,it may induce offline group events such as petitions,protests and demonstrations,which will have adverse effects on the physical and mental health of college students,campus security and social stability.Based on this,this paper sets the research goal as how to effectively guide the online public opinion of college students.Under the guidance of the basic theory of public management,this paper,through literature review and research and referring to the existing research results on public opinion guidance,selected F University in Guangxi to make a typical case analysis of the online public opinion of college students triggered by the lockdown event during the novel coronavirus epidemic,and sent questionnaires to the teachers and students of the university to investigate the current situation of online public opinion guidance of college students.The survey found that the professional ability of the public opinion guidance team in colleges and universities is weak,the guidance work is lagging behind,and there is a lack of effective theoretical guidance.Moreover,the moral quality of college students themselves needs to be strengthened,and the network literacy is low.The popularization of digital technology in college students and the coexistence of diversified social trends also make the current situation of public opinion guidance in colleges and universities more complicated.Based on the theory of public governance,this paper focuses on the analysis of college students’ online public opinion guidance from the perspective of governance,advocating that the governance concept should be based on channelling,and the management mode should be abandoned.It is proposed to absorb college students to participate in the daily management of the campus,and focus on cultivating network "opinion leaders" including college students.Introduce the concept of public crisis management,broaden the network publicity channels,timely and actively release the facts,and improve the professional ability of the public opinion guidance team;Strengthen the moral education of college students,pay attention to the energy contained in traditional Chinese culture,and help the moral quality of college students recover through sinology education.The above countermeasures and suggestions are operable to some extent,hoping to provide some useful reference and reference for college students’ online public opinion guidance.
