At present,"empty nest youth" has gradually become a new generation force that cannot be ignored in the construction of big citie.On the Identity Construction of "Empty Nest Youth" in Big Cities,it is not only related to their successful completion of urban social integration,but also plays an important role in the smooth progress of China’s new urbanization strategy,the stable and prosperous development of urban construction,and the harmonious and prosperous society.This paper is based on the theory of daily life criticism,focuses on the identity of "empty nest youth".Collect first-hand interview data through qualitative research methods of literature research and case interview.First of all,it generally discusses that the identity of "empty nest youth" is in the process of complex and changeable dynamic construction,and specifically elaborated the identity construction types of planning escape,wandering and wandering,and seeking breakthrough.Secondly,from the three aspects of work life,social life and personal life,analyzed the problems of occupational identity anxiety,lack of emotional support,monotony and lack of leisure cultural life in the construction of "empty nest youth" identity.And it points out that the alienation of labor,social relations and leisure cultural life lead to the loss of the subjectivity of "empty nest youth",which leads to the dilemma of identity.According to the research,we can help "empty nest youth" better realize their identity by enriching youth spiritual and cultural activities,strengthening government supervision and urging enterprises to perform their duties,and improving their ability to adjust themselves at all levels from the cultural,institutional and personal levels.
