The 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China emphasized the importance of talent and high-quality education in the country’s sports industry.Physical education programs in colleges and universities play a crucial role in cultivating sports talents at all levels.To improve the quality of sports talent training,this study explores the feasibility of using the Moston reciprocal teaching method in badminton classes for sports students.Through literature review,expert interviews,questionnaire surveys,mathematical statistics,and an eight-week teaching experiment with 50 physical education students,the study analyzes the impact of the Moston method on physical fitness,badminton skills,learning interest,and sense of cooperation.The results indicate that the Moston reciprocal teaching method can effectively stimulate students’ interest in learning,enhance their sense of cooperation,and achieve good learning outcomes.This study provides valuable insights for innovating classroom teaching methods,improving the quality of sports education,and fostering outstanding sports professionals.(1)Both the traditional pedagogy and the Moston reciprocal pedagogy have a promoting and improving effect on students’ physical fitness development,but there is no significant difference.(2)The use of Moston reciprocal teaching method can significantly enhance the effect of sports college students in the learning of badminton techniques.(3)The use of Moston reciprocal teaching method can effectively promote the sense of cooperation among sports college students.It is mainly manifested in cooperative cognition.(4)The use of Moston reciprocal teaching method can effectively stimulate students’ interest in badminton technical learning,mainly in technical learning interest.
