| Since the concept of high-quality economic development was put forward,numerous researches have been carried out based on this concept.However,the realization of high-quality economic development is a long-term process.At present,there are still some problems such as unclear understanding of the internal mechanism of high-quality economic development,unclear development status and unclear influencing factors.Based on the data from 2010 to 2020,this thesis measures the high-quality development level of China’s economy in the past decade.In addition,the thesis analyzes the spatial differences of high-quality economic development level among provinces and cities(autonomous regions)in China in 2020,explores the influencing factors of high-quality economic development in China,analyzes the influencing ways and intensity of each influencing factor,and provides theoretical support for the formulation of relevant policies to further improve the high-quality economic development level.Based on the new development concept,this thesis constructs a comprehensive evaluation index system to measure the high quality development level of the economy.Based on the index system and related statistical methods,the thesis calculates the high quality development level of the economy of China,and studies the differences in time and space according to the calculation results.Based on the entropy-weight TOPSIS comprehensive evaluation and analysis method,this thesis studies the spatio-temporal difference of China’s high-quality economic development level and draws the following conclusions: In the 2010-2020 time series,the high-quality development level of China’s economy increased continuously from 2010 to 2019,reached the highest level in 2019,slightly decreased in 2020,reached the medium level at the highest,and was at a low or very low level of development except for 2018-2020.In 2020,the level of high-quality economic development of all provinces and cities(autonomous regions)in China was generally low,with Guangdong Province at the highest level of medium development,followed by Beijing,Shanghai,Jiangsu and Zhejiang Province at a low level of development,and the rest of the regions at a very low level of development.Considering that China has made remarkable achievements in economic development and achieved the "first Centenary Goal" to achieve comprehensive poverty alleviation,the calculation results show that in 2020,most of the regions will still be at a very low level of high-quality economic development,which is somewhat different from the actual results.From a technical point of view,the main reason for the above deviation is that there is a strong collinearity among indicators,which leads to the overestimation or underestimation of the status and role of some indicators in the process of comprehensive evaluation.In order to obtain more objective evaluation results,this thesis introduces sparse principal component analysis and entropy weight TOPSIS comprehensive evaluation method,and proposes a new statistical method--sparse TOPSIS comprehensive evaluation method.Based on the sparse TOPSIS comprehensive evaluation method,the thesis re-studies the spatio-temporal differences of the high quality development level of China’s economy and draws the following conclusions: From 2010 to 2020,China’s high-quality economic development reached a relatively high level in 2020,a relatively low level in 2016,and a medium level in2010-2015 and 2017-2019.In 2020,China’s provinces and municipalities(autonomous regions)are divided into three levels of high-quality economic development,with the eastern region at a higher level,the central region at a medium level,and the western region at a lower level.The introduction of sparse principal component analysis not only reduces the dimension of the evaluation index system,but also automatically removes unimportant indicators from the evaluation index system,so as to ensure a more objective and reasonable measurement of high-quality economic development level.After the objective and reasonable measurement of the level of high-quality economic development,the influence of the factors and the influencing mechanism of each factor are further explored.First of all,this thesis qualitatively analyzes the factors affecting high-quality economic development,and concludes that final consumption expenditure,total capital formation,net export of goods and services,technological innovation ability and environmental quality play a crucial role in high-quality economic development.Secondly,based on quantile regression quantitative analysis of the influencing mechanism of each influencing factor,the conclusion is drawn: The final consumption expenditure and the net export of goods and services inhibited the high quality of economy at the low score point,and promoted the high score point.The total capital formation can promote the high quality development of economy at the low score,but can inhibit it at the high score.Technological innovation ability and environmental quality showed different promoting effects at different loci,and the promoting effects of environmental quality at higher loci were not obvious.Using quantile regression method to study the influencing factors of high-quality economic development can effectively weaken the influence of outliers,with good robustness,and more objectively and accurately describe the effect and status of each index on the high-quality economic development of China.Based on the above research,suggestions are put forward to further improve the level of high-quality economic development.First,prudently grasp the direction of investment,pay attention to expanding domestic demand to stimulate consumption,and increase export.Second,we will increase investment in scientific research,enhance our capacity for scientific and technological innovation,and firmly grasp core technologies in key areas.Third,both environmental protection and economic development,pay attention to the optimization of the environment. |
