Practical Research On How Social Work Services Can Improve The Educational Resources Of Migrant Childre

With the advancement of urbanization,a large number of rural migrant workers have flowed into cities,and the growth of the floating population has driven the synchronous growth of the number of urban migrant children.Under the background of China’s urban-rural dual registered residence system,the problem of migrant children’s enrollment education in the place of immigration is increasingly prominent.The main manifestations are limited opportunities to enter public schools,difficulties in further education,unequal access to educational resources,and lack of parental education.To improve the education status of migrant children,social work institutions have enriched their educational resources from three levels: school,community,and family,and actively carried out social work services in the practical field of migrant children.This study is based on the theories of empowerment and social support.The researcher adheres to the practical principle of serving in learning and learning in service.The research object is S Social Work Institution,which provides social work services for migrant children in the urban village community of Guiyang City.Based on participatory observation and unstructured interview methods,the educational resources of migrant children are surveyed,Conduct practical research on improving educational resources for migrant children through social work services based on the project services of S social work institution.This study summarizes the practical experience of S social work organization at the levels of schools,communities,and families for migrant children.In addition,research has found that S social work organization also faces challenges such as insufficient human resources,funding shortages,project sustainability difficulties,and a lack of supervisory support in providing services to migrant children.In response to the challenges faced by social work institutions mentioned above,this study believes that developing a stable volunteer service team,providing diverse educational services through community platforms,establishing a funding guarantee mechanism,and introducing supervision and support forces are effective measures to improve the quality of social work services,promote industry development,and improve the shortage of educational resources for migrant children.
