The Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China emphasized the educational concept of "cultivating people with virtue","Taking the cultivation of people with virtue as the fundamental task of education,and Cultivating socialist builders and successors with all-round development of morality,intelligence,physique,and beauty".To implement the fundamental task of cultivating people with virtue,it is necessary to strengthen the development of ideological and political development of college courses.And at this stage,there are still few related research on ideological and political values in basketball courses in sports colleges,which need to be further improved.Therefore,this paper takes the ideological and political development of the curriculum as the starting point,and carries out the teaching design and practical research of the ideological and political courses of basketball compulsory courses in sports colleges according characteristics of students and the project,and explores the ideological and political elements of the curriculum and integrates them into the classroom,so that students can achieve all-round development.Improve the teaching design of ideological and political courses for compulsory basketball courses,and provide suggestions for the development of ideological and political courses in sports colleges.This paper takes the ideological and political teaching design and practical effect of basketball compulsory courses in sports colleges as the research object,and randomly selects 42 students from the 4th and 10 th classes of physical education of Guangzhou Institute of Physical Education in 2022 as experimental objects.The research methods such as literature method,questionnaire survey method,expert interview method,teaching experiment method,mathematical statistics method and others research methods are adopted to design students,ideological awareness questionnaire from four dimensions: ideal and belief,personal development,educational quality and professional quality.Determine the test indicators of physical fitness and special technology before and after the experiment;Carry out ideological and political teaching design from the aspects of teaching plan,teaching objectives,teaching content,teaching process,teaching methods,teaching evaluation,etc.;After randomization,4 classes of physical education in the experimental group carried out ideological and political teaching of basketball lessons,and 10 classes of physical education in the control group carried out traditional basketball lessons,and the differences between the two teaching methods were compared through 16 weeks of teaching experiments.The following results are obtained:(1)Preliminary design of "Basketball Compulsory Class Student Ideological Awareness Scale" and reliability validity test,through expert judgment method to find that the I-CVI of all items is greater than 0.78,S-CVI/UA=0.92>0.90,S-CVI/Ave=0.98>0.90.Statistics and analysis of 308 valid questionnaire samples were collected,and the project analysis showed significant differences.The KMO value of the sample was 0.96>0.90,the value of the Bartlett sphericity test was8524.26,and the P value was <0.01,and the cumulative variance interpretation rate of the four factors was determined by exploratory factor analysis to be 64.276%.The confirmatory factor analysis showed that X2/df=1.077,GFI=0.912,CFI=0.993,IFI=0.993,RMSEA=0.016,and the clonbach α coefficient of the aggregate table =0.955,and the halving coefficient = 0.872.(2)After the experiment,four physical fitness tests were carried out for15-meter sprint run,one-handed running height,30-meter switchback run×5 and T-shaped run,and the test results of the experimental group were 2.58± 0.14,312.76±9.6,66.76± 4.28 and 11.22±0.45,and the test results of the control group were2.57±0.19,311.43± 8.66,66.62± 3.44,11.23 ± 0.38 respectively.(3)After the experiment,four special technical tests were carried out: triangle sliding step,two-person pass catch,three-point line left-hand round-trip layup,and continuous shooting on both sides of the free throw area.The scores of the experimental group were 12.19± 1.18,10.86± 1.56,86.67± 8.13,84.76±7.68,and the scores of the control group were 11.86±(4)1.15,10.48±1.50,84.67± 10.61,82.38±7.28,respectively.(4)After the experiment,the ideological awareness test of four dimensions of ideal and belief,personal development,educational quality and professional quality was carried out,and the scores of the experimental group were 44.24± 3.45,41.81±3.60,45.71± 2.43 and 44.76±3.27,and the scores of the control group were 40.91±4.59,37.05± 5.41,40.52± 4.19,40.81± 3.46,respectively.The following conclusions are drawn:(1)There are many ideological and political elements in the basketball course can be excavated and integrated,through expert interviews and relevant literature collection,the ideological consciousness is sorted out into four dimensions namely ideals and beliefs,personal development,educational quality,and professional quality.And a scale that can reflect the ideological consciousness of students in basketball compulsory courses in sports colleges and universities is designed from four dimensions,and the practicability of the scale is verified through analysis and practice.(2)Analyze the key points of ideological and political elements and run them through the ideological and political teaching of basketball compulsory courses in the entire sports college,adhere to the design principles of direction,scientificity,epochality,subtlety,gradualism,long-term repetition,etc,carry out teaching design with professional characteristics from the six parts of teaching plan,teaching objectives,teaching content,teaching process,teaching method and teaching evaluation,pay attention to the investigation of students,ideals and beliefs,personal development,educational quality,professional quality and other ideological consciousness,so that basketball courses can achieve the true meaning The effect of’three comprehensive education’.(3)Both teaching methods can effectively improve students’ ideological awareness and special skills.However,they are less effective in improving students’ physical quality.(4)Compared with traditional teaching,ideological and political teaching of basketball courses can better enhance students’ ideological awareness.The effect of the two teaching methods on students’ physical fitness is similar,but the ideological and political teaching of the curriculum is slightly better than the traditional teaching for the improvement of special technology.
