Under the background of the globalization era of "service economy",the rapid expansion of China’s service industry will inevitably become one of the important starting points for future industrial modernization and innovation.At present,the international situation is more complicated,China has now entered the stage of pursuing "quality" development,and is currently in a period of important strategic opportunities,and the new development pattern of "dual circulation" puts forward higher requirements for the high-quality development of the service industry.To this end,the Party Central Committee has made a series of important arrangements,and the 20 th National Congress of the Party proposed to build a new system of high-quality and efficient service industry,accelerate the development of the service industry,improve the agglomeration degree of the service industry,and attach importance to the development of agglomeration areas.Since the reform and opening up,China’s transportation has made amazing achievements,and has played a significant role in factor flow,optimizing the layout of space industry,and expanding market scope.Comprehensive transportation efficiency reflects the efficiency of resource allocation of transportation system and can reflect the comprehensive development of transportation system.Therefore,taking transportation efficiency as the general starting point,it is of great significance to explore the influence effect of comprehensive transportation efficiency on service industry agglomeration,which is of great significance to achieve the high-quality development of service industry and transportation industry.Based on the research of relevant literature at home and abroad,this thesis expounds the influence mechanism of integrated transportation on service industry agglomeration from three perspectives: market,labor and knowledge spillover.The super-efficient SBM model and location entropy including undesired output were used to measure the comprehensive transportation efficiency and service industry agglomeration degree of each province in China from 2000 to 2021.The spatial evolution of China’s comprehensive transportation efficiency and service industry agglomeration in 2004,2010,2018 and 2021 was analyzed by the method of nuclear density estimation.At the same time,on this basis,a panel benchmark regression model is constructed to explore the influence effect of comprehensive transportation efficiency on service industry agglomeration,and from the perspective of spatial spillover,the spatial Dubin model is selected to study and compare the spatial spillover effect and difference analysis of comprehensive transportation efficiency on service industry agglomeration in China and the eastern,central and western regions.The results show that:(1)China’s comprehensive transportation efficiency and service industry agglomeration are on the rise as a whole,and the development differences between provinces are gradually narrowing,the overall dispersion degree is gradually decreasing,and the absolute gap is gradually narrowing;The distribution of comprehensive transportation efficiency and service industry agglomeration is high in the east and low in the central and western regions.(2)There is a significant positive impact of comprehensive transportation efficiency at the national level on the agglomeration of the service industry,and there is a significant spillover effect in space,and both the direct effect and the spatial spillover effect are positive.(3)There are obvious differences in the spatial spillover effects of comprehensive transportation efficiency on the service industry at the level of eastern,central and western regions,with positive direct effects and negative indirect effects in the east and central regions,and positive direct effects and indirect effects in the west,but not significant.According to the research results,the following suggestions are put forward:(1)Since the development of the service industry varies greatly between regions,each region should reasonably formulate its development plan according to its own development of the service industry and transportation.(2)Strengthen the construction of an integrated transportation system and promote the improvement of comprehensive transportation efficiency.The eastern region should accelerate the integrated development of transportation infrastructure networks and transportation service networks,and promote the high-quality development of comprehensive transportation services;The central and western regions should accelerate the transformation of urban facilities,strengthen freight capacity building,improve rural transportation infrastructure,improve the level of urban-rural equalization services,narrow the gap between urban and rural areas,and promote balanced development of transportation.(3)Improve the spatial layout of comprehensive transportation and service industry agglomeration,and promote the common development of transportation and service industry.All provinces should strengthen inter-regional cooperation and promote the coordinated development of comprehensive transportation.The government should introduce relevant policies that match the local service industry,deepen the reform of the service industry,and rely on the spatial linkage between regions to exert the promotion effect of comprehensive transportation efficiency on surrounding areas.
