A Study On College Students’ Career Outlook Under The Background Of Universalization Of Higher Education

With the expansion of colleges and universities,the development of higher education has entered the popularization stage,and the employment situation of college students has become more severe.The employment of college students has always been highly valued by the Party and the government.In the context of the popularization of higher education,the concept of career choice has become the core element of college students’ employment.Helping college students establish a correct and reasonable concept of career choice can not only promote college students’ employment,but also play an important role in helping personal growth and promoting social development.This study takes college students as the research sample,and designs a questionnaire from the four dimensions of college students’ career choice outlook,such as career choice expectation,career choice cognition,career choice motivation and career choice attitude.First of all,the current situation of college students’ job-selection view was investigated,including the basic situation of college students’ job-selection view and the difference analysis of college students’ job-selection view under different individual factors,school factors and family factors.Secondly,the collected data results were statistically analyzed,and it was found that the overall situation of college students’ job-selection view was improving under the background of higher education popularization,However,there is still a gap between some college students’ view of career choice and the requirements of the development of the times.The main manifestations are: there are deviations in college students’ cognition of career selection,their weak social values,their weak sense of independent entrepreneurship,and their unstable attitude towards career selection.These problems have a direct impact on college students’ employment,and will also have an indirect impact on the development of our society.On the basis of literature review and investigation and analysis,this paper is based on the theory of the development stage of higher education,Marx’s view of career choice for young people,and the theory of individual socialization,and comprehensively uses the two methods of theoretical analysis and empirical research,starting from the four perspectives of the country,universities,families,and students themselves,based on the above understanding and analysis of the problems existing in the view of career choice of some college students in Jiangsu Province and Shandong Province,Put forward targeted optimization countermeasures,further clarify the role orientation of the government,colleges and universities,and families in the optimization of college students’ career outlook,and the self orientation of college students,and help college students to receive the government,colleges and universities The collaborative guidance and assistance of the three main bodies of the family and active play to their own initiative.
