Research On Jiangsu’s "First-Class And Diversified" Higher Education Structure From The Perspective Of Educational Ecology

As higher education enters the stage of popularization,people’s demand for high-quality higher education resources should be taken as the starting point and foothold,and a new pattern of "first-class and diversified" with better quality and stronger characteristics should be moved towards.Facing the new stage and new requirements of popularization of higher education,Jiangsu has built a "first-class and diversified" higher education structure.Based on this,this study focuses on Jiangsu’s "first-class and diversified" higher education structure,sorts out the historical evolution and current situation of Jiangsu’s higher education structure for more than a hundred years,and analyzes the concept connotation,basic characteristics and era implication of Jiangsu’s "first-class and diversified" higher education structure.And learn from the successful experience of the structure construction of public higher education in California,at the same time,conduct an educational ecological review of Jiangsu’s "first-class and diversified" higher education structure,and explore the optimization path of higher education structure,in order to provide experience for the high-quality development of China’s higher education.Firstly,this study divides the historical evolution of Jiangsu’s higher education structure into six periods,namely: the structure of Jiangsu’s higher education in the Republic of China(1912-1949),the initial formation of Jiangsu’s higher education(1949-1957),the development of Jiangsu’s higher education.Ups and downs(1958-1977),recovery and upgrading of higher education in Jiangsu(1978-1999),rapid development of higher education structure in Jiangsu(2000-2014),new development stage of higher education structure in Jiangsu(2015-present).It is not difficult to find that in the new stage of development,Jiangsu’s higher education structure has shown a "first-class and diverse" state,although there are still the following problems: first,the hierarchical structure still needs to be optimized,and the proportion of postgraduate training is small;second,the optimization of the structure of disciplines The adjustment is not in place,and the degree of matching with economic and social development needs to be improved;the third is the unbalanced development of types and structures,the scale of adult colleges and universities is relatively small,and the quality of talent training needs to be improved;South area.Secondly,this study defines the concept of Jiangsu’s "first-class and diversified" higher education structure,that is,"there are levels within categories,categories within categories,categories within categories,and levels within levels",and higher education at different levels "performs its own duties,each in its own right,clear division of labor,and cooperation",colleges and universities with different characteristics form an ecological pattern of "each is beautiful,the beauty is beautiful,the beauty is shared",and the basic characteristics of Jiangsu’s "first-class and diversified" higher education structure are highlighted.The basic characteristics of oriented to social needs and based on local development,aiming at Jiangsu’s industry and optimizing the evaluation mechanism in parallel,and coordinating and coordinating development and constructing the three major governances are the basic characteristics.The implication of the times is an important guarantee for the strong support and construction of "higher education and strong province".Then,the United States is one of the countries with the most developed higher education in the world.The development of world-class universities in the United States is inseparable from its world-class higher education structure,and the "first-class and diversified" public higher education structure in California is quite representative.Jiangsu’s higher education structure has a unique political system,regional economy,and traditional culture,and it cannot fully copy the experience of California’s "first-class and diversified" public higher education structure.However,the law of higher education development has certain common features,so the California public higher education system is worth learning and referring to.This study finds that Jiangsu’s "first-class and diversified" higher education structure should: build an interactive model between universities and localities to help multi-dimensional social service functions;explore Jiangsu’s "first-class and diversified" higher education system and promote coordinated macro management;North" policy compensation,planning a balanced education layout,to achieve a hundred flowers blooming,a hundred boats competing for success.Finally,the educational ecology review of Jiangsu’s "first-class and diversified" higher education structure shows that: Jiangsu’s "first-class and diversified" higher education structure fully considers the educational niche;Jiangsu’s "first-class and diversified" higher education structure fully realizes synergy and symbiosis.
