Under the background of promoting made in China 2025 and national vocational education reform,more and more vocational colleges are trying their best to seek change and greater development opportunities.For higher vocational colleges,this is a rare historical opportunity;But at the same time,the short board of talents,funds and brands in higher vocational colleges also seriously restricts the rapid development of the school.Among them,the shortage of teachers has become the key factor restricting the improvement of teaching level and quality.As a vulnerable group in higher vocational colleges,private higher vocational colleges have a more prominent shortage of high-quality teachers.Therefore,how to further strengthen teacher management,improve teachers’ enthusiasm and build a first-class higher vocational teacher team is an urgent practical problem to be solved.This paper takes the teacher performance management of DS Private Higher Vocational Colleges as the research object.Firstly,based on the analysis of the basic characteristics of Private Higher Vocational Colleges and teacher performance management,this paper combs and analyzes the research results of experts and scholars at home and abroad in this field;Secondly,combined with questionnaires,on-site interviews and other ways to collect teachers’ opinions and suggestions on school performance management,this paper puts forward the existing problems and analyzes the reasons;Thirdly,according to the PDCA cycle theoretical model,aiming at the clear related problems,this paper puts forward specific optimization suggestions from the four dimensions of performance management plan,performance management implementation,performance management evaluation and performance management application,including clarifying the purpose of performance management,reconstructing the performance evaluation index system,establishing feedback mechanism and principles,etc;Finally,in order to ensure the implementation of the optimization scheme of teacher performance management,this paper puts forward the guarantee measures for the implementation of the scheme.Through the research and analysis of this paper,we hope to provide beneficial optimization reference and practical reference for the practice of teacher performance management in DS Private Higher Vocational Colleges,help the school improve the level and effect of teacher performance management,and finally build a high-quality vocational education teacher team,improve the overall level of school construction,and realize the strategic goal of school development;At the same time,it is also expected that this study can further enrich the theory of teacher performance management in private higher vocational colleges,and also provide a useful reference for the optimization of teacher performance management in other domestic higher vocational colleges.
