| In order to greatly develop the vocational education and accelerate the construction of the modern vocational education system,the State Council promulgated the National Reform and Implementation Plan for Vocational Education in January 2019,which puts forward clear requirements for the development of vocational education.The pilot work of“academic certificate +vocational skill level certificate” system was carried out in vocational colleges in March 2019.Therefore,under the background of "1 + X" certificate system,the professional development of teachers in secondary vocational schools has become an urgent topic to be studied.Basing on the perspective of the "1+X" certificate system,the study takes teachers from5 secondary vocational schools in Guangdong Province as the survey objects and uses the questionnaire as the method to investigate the current situation of teachers’ professional development in secondary vocational schools.Through the investigation,it is found that there are some main problems in the professional development of teachers in secondary vocational schools: weak consciousness of teachers’ professional development in secondary vocational schools,uneven development of various dimensions of teachers’ majors in secondary vocational schools,limited cognition of teachers in secondary schools on the "1+X" certificate system,big gap between the current situation of teachers’ professional development in secondary vocational schools and the new requirements put forward by the "1+X" certificate system,imperfect training system for teachers of secondary vocational schools.Thus the author will analyze the reasons for the above problems from the teacher’s individual level,the school level,and the education administrative department level,and proposes feasible strategies to promote the professional development of teachers in secondary vocational school from the perspective of teachers,schools and educational administrative departments based on the above reasons. |
