With the rapid development of information technology and the Internet, contemporary education has undergone many changes.Blended learning,as a new teaching method that combines online and offline teaching, has received national attention and promotion.Especially in the field of vocational education, policies explicitly require the deep integration of modern information technology and education, promote teaching reforms, and explore the application of blended learning. However,at the current secondary vocational stage, curriculum teaching still relies mainly on traditional classroom teaching, using only tools such as PPT for simple auxiliary teaching offline, which cannot fully utilize the advantages of blended learning. Therefore, exploring blended learning models suitable for secondary vocational schools, improving teaching effectiveness and quality, and cultivating more outstanding accounting professionals have become important tasks for current reforms in secondary vocational education.By using literature research methods to sort out and summarize the literature on hybrid teaching models both domestically and internationally, and combining with a survey analysis of the current teaching situation of the "Basic Accounting" course in secondary vocational education, this study constructs a set of hybrid teaching models suitable for secondary vocational schools. The model is guided by constructivist learning theory, meaningful learning theory, and mastery learning theory, and includes three stages: online autonomous learning before class, offline key breakthroughs during class, and online consolidation and improvement after class. The online autonomous learning before class is carried out through the "Rain Classroom" teaching platform, providing students with online learning resources such as preview courseware, learning task sheets, test questions,MOOCs,and online video resources to help students learn independently. The offline key breakthroughs during class put students at the center and use various forms of teaching activities, including lectures, interactive discussions, case analysis, etc.,to help students understand and master the key points of the course. The online consolidation and improvement after class is carried out through the "Rain Classroom" teaching platform, providing students with online learning resources such as homework, online Q&A,and autonomous learning to consolidate and improve their learning outcomes. Finally, the constructed hybrid teaching model was applied to the "Basic Accounting" course of a vocational school in Chongqing,China, and conducted a comparative experiment between the experimental class and the control class using the experimental method.Using independent samples t-test to compare the mid-term and final exam scores of the two classes, the results showed that the experimental class had significantly higher final exam scores than the control class.Additionally, the study analyzed the students’ learning outcomes through a questionnaire survey and analyzed the questionnaire’s reliability and validity using SPSS,and compared the teaching situation of the experimental class before and after the practice. The results showed that the hybrid teaching model can improve students’ learning interest, cultivate their study habits and general abilities, and help students better master the knowledge to some extent. This study provides an effective case and practical experience for the design and implementation of a hybrid teaching model for vocational basic accounting courses, and also provides some references for vocational teaching reform research.
