Ancient poetry,featured by concise language,distant artistic conception,implicit emotion,rich connotation and harmonious tonality,is an important carrier for cultivating students’ Chinese language key competencies.The current problems in the teaching of ancient poetry,such as utilitarian teaching objectives,fragmentary teaching content,stereotypical teaching methods and simplistic teaching evaluation,make it difficult for ancient poetry to fully realize its educational value.The "General Senior High School Curriculum Standards:Chinese(2017 Edition,Revised in 2020)" organizes the content of Chinese in the form of learning task clusters,advocates project-based teaching based on learning task clusters and provides methodological guidance for implementation of Chinese language key competencies.Based on this,guided by the idea of learning task clusters,introducing the project-based teaching into the teaching of ancient poetry in senior high school is conducive to get out of the current dilemmas of teaching of ancient poetry and is an effective way to cultivate students’ Chinese language key competencies through the teaching of ancient poetry.Based on relevant researches,this thesis makes theoretical research and practical investigation on the project-based teaching of ancient poetry in senior high school based on learning task clusters and builds a teaching strategy system for this teaching method.The project-based teaching of ancient poetry in senior high school based on learning task clusters is characterized by centralized and typical teaching content,autonomous and research-based teaching methods,situational and driving teaching activities,long-term and layered teaching processes,diversified and consistent teaching evaluation.In light of the constructivist learning theory and the pragmatism education theory,it aims to change the teaching method of Chinese,cultivate Chinese language key competencies and promote teachers’ professional development.Combined with the relevant requirements of the new curriculum standards,the layout characteristics of ancient poetry in unified compilation of the senior high school Chinese textbooks,ancient poetry reading questions of the college entrance examination and the current situation of teaching ancient poetry in senior high school,this thesis proposes the teaching strategies of the project-based teaching of ancient poetry in senior high school based on learning task clusters which is elaborated from three aspects: the stage of development,the stage of implementation,and the stage of evaluation.In the development stage of the project,it is necessary to establish the topic,integrate resources,and clarify goals.In the implementation stage of the project,it is necessary to create authentic learning situations,design Chinese learning tasks,and implement the teaching in sections.In the evaluation stage of the project,it should refer to the Chinese curriculum standards,advocate for the principle of diversified evaluations,and follow the consistency of teaching-learning-assessment.To further validate the effectiveness of the theory,this thesis designs a project-based teaching case based on Su Shi’s Poetry.According to the typicality and situationality of learning tasks,students’ autonomy and participation as well as teachers’ professional competence,this thesis proposes corresponding suggestions for improvement.
