| Confucianism is an important part of the excellent traditional Chinese culture and has had a profound impact on Chinese civilization.In the long history,Confucian culture has been deeply integrated into the blood of the Chinese nation and the Chinese people,despite several twists and turns.The Confucian classics,represented by the Four Books and Five Classics,are an important vehicle for transmitting the excellent traditional Chinese culture,and are also the key content of language learning for middle school students.It is both the need of the times and the call of education to inherit Confucian ideology and promote the excellent culture of Confucianism in middle school language teaching.Language teachers should dig deeper and expound the contemporary values of the excellent Chinese traditional culture of benevolence,people-oriented,honesty,justice and commonwealth from the classical Confucian texts,so as to enhance students’ humanistic literacy,strengthen their cultural confidence and promote the creative transformation and innovative development of traditional culture.The thesis takes Confucian classical selections as the main object of study,with the aim of transmitting Confucian ideology and promoting excellent Chinese traditional culture.Firstly,the formation process of Confucian classics and their relationship with traditional culture are explained at the macro level,and the distribution and characteristics of Confucian classics in junior high school language textbooks are discussed at the micro level,and the important values of the selected texts in cultural transmission,moral cultivation,learning and knowledge,and writing teaching are summarized.Second,through questionnaire surveys of teachers and students,we explore the current situation of teaching Confucian classics and find that there are problems such as teachers’ teaching concepts need to be updated,the internalization of Confucian ideology is insufficient,and classroom teaching methods need to be enriched,and we analyze the causes of these problems,mainly the lack of teachers’ basic quality,the difficulty and controversy of the classics themselves,and the utilitarianism of teaching by examination.The main reasons for these problems are the teachers’ lack of basic knowledge,the difficulty and controversy of the classics,and the utilitarianism of teaching by examination.Again,in view of the problems that arise in the teaching process,the teaching strategies of selected Confucian classics are actively explored from five aspects,including the change of teaching concepts,the design of teaching contents,the choice of teaching methods,the strengthening of teacher-student interaction and the evaluation of teaching effects.When teachers conduct classroom teaching,they should combine the characteristics and values of the selected Confucian classics,base on the standards and learning conditions,change their teaching concepts in time,and clarify the teaching objectives of the selected Confucian classics based on the reading aid system of the textbook.On the basis of grasping the content of the textbook selections,they will promote the integration of Confucianism,realize the living of Confucian classics,and continuously optimize their teaching design.They should also carefully choose appropriate teaching methods according to students’ characteristics and text features,strengthen teacher-student interaction,stimulate students’ interest in learning,and pay attention to the consistency of teaching assessment so that the teaching value of Confucian classics can be truly realized.Finally,based on the relevant teaching strategies to take the Confucian classical selection Cao Gui’s Argument on War in the textbook as an example,we will carry out the teaching design and write teaching reflections.In conclusion,based on the combination of theory and practice,the thesis starts from three aspects:why to teach,what to teach,and how to teach,takes the Confucian classical selections in the unified middle school language textbooks and the related comprehensive studies as the research objects,takes the latest version of The Compulsory Education Language Curriculum Standards as the research basis,carefully sorts out the distribution of the Confucian classical selections and the characteristics of the selections,actively explores the unique value of the Confucian classical selections in contemporary society,and proposes effective teaching strategies according to the problems that arise in teaching.We hope to help front-line teachers regain awareness of the importance of Confucian classics and be able to make good use of the Confucian classical selections in their textbooks to promote the overall development of students’ core literacy. |
