History is the root, culture is the soul, the classic is a spiritual home, is the most preciousand essential cultural core of the whole nation, the essence of the. Jiang Qing said:"from theperspective of the history of human civilization, the culture of a nation, history, spirit, valueexists in the nation’s classic, at all times and in all countries admit of no exceptionwhatsoever." Thus, Confucian and Taoist classics has been renowned in the Chinese history ofthousands of years. Historical proof, rejuvenation cannot do without cultural revitalization,especially excellent traditional culture. So someone has wittily seemed the classical educationas essential "vitamin", visibly, classics is particularly important of the development of a nation.Therefore, this paper analyze the Chinese Textbooks in middle school based on the Confucianand Taoist classics’ selection of articles and research its teaching, so as to fully exploit theunique value and meaning of Confucian and Taoist classics selected articles, to provide areference and help for the current Chinese education and teaching in secondary schools.The thesis is divided into two parts, the introduction and text. Introduction brieflydescribed the background and meaning of choosing this topic, and summarizes the researchsituation. Text is divided into three chapters:The first chapter, Starting from the overview of selected articles of Confucian and Taoistclassics in PEP school Chinese textbooks, and then compared the quantity, quality, style andlayout sustem of selected articles and analyzed the situation of the Confucian and Taoistclassics selected articles in each version of the classic high school textbooks, and overallunderstanding of the status quo of Confucian and Taoist classics selected articles in schoolChinese textbooks. And then put forward the cause of selected articles and give some suggestsabout the selection of articles.The second chapter, discussion on teaching researches of Confucian and Taoist classicsselected articles based on the analysis of the Chinese textbooks. Summarized the currentteaching situation and causes of Confucian and Taoist classics selected articles,then rethinkedthe current teaching about middle school Chinese language based on the full use of traditionalteaching experience of Confucian and Taoist classics selected articles. And then put forwardthe selected articles’ teaching countermeasures. At the last, To analyze the practical teaching designs and the junior and senior high schools’ teaching cases about Confucian and Taoistclassics selected article deeply. By these analysises, they can outstand the traditional culture’classcial value and rich cultural connotations, and highlight the significance of Confucian andTaoist classics selected articles to the perfect personality of the middle school students.
