In Guangxi,See The "Today" And "Tomorrow" Of Higher Vocational Education

Vocational education has an important role in the whole education system to cultivate more high quality skilled talents and contribute more to the economic development of the society.Nowadays,vocational education has been able to attract more and more attention from the society.This paper adopts the form of a series of reports,consisting of four news reports.Taking several representative vocational schools in Guangxi as examples,the author uses documentary writing to report through field observation,research and in-depth interviews.The reports are from the perspectives of students,schools,teachers and enterprises,etc.Through several real and vivid examples and equipped with relevant data,the reports deeply analyze the current situation,advantages and shortcomings of the development of higher vocational education,and focus on the learning or working situation of students,schools,enterprises and teachers as well as the powerful practice and exploration of higher vocational education under the development status of higher vocational education in Guangxi.The author tries to show the real development situation of Guangxi higher vocational schools through research and interviews,and better serve the development of Guangxi regional economy.Specifically,the author found in the interview that there are some prejudices about vocational education in the society in general,but the higher vocational education is still promising.Even if they are forced to study in the higher vocational schools,the higher vocational students still try to learn various skills and find satisfactory jobs by changing their minds.In terms of talent cultivation,higher vocational schools have made strong exploration in terms of professional setting,introduction and training of teachers,providing various platforms for students,and school-enterprise cooperation.In the current development,although there are still some problems,the development of Guangxi higher vocational education has a very broad prospect.In the future,it will gradually change the society’s traditional concept of vocational education,continue to increase the depth and strength of school-enterprise cooperation,develop vocational bachelor’s degree to meet the needs of society,and promote the better development of Guangxi higher vocational education.
