Mind mapping is a kind of auxiliary tool to visualize the mind.It usually takes a certain concept as the center,and systematically emanates several nodes outward to form a new thinking center,and continues to diverge,and finally forms a personal information data repository and a big concept.History Curriculum Standards for Ordinary High School(2017edition)takes the five core qualities of history as the main line,namely,historical materialism,concept of time and space,historical evidence,historical interpretation,and feelings of home and country,which are the core tasks of current history research.The concept of time and space is not only the foundation of history understanding,but also an important mode of historical thinking.Forming the concept of time and space is the primary task of history teaching.The application of mind mapping in the preview,teaching and review of history teaching tries to help students construct history,which can gradually form the historical thinking mode and viewpoint in the historical time and space connection,and finally realize the transfer of learning.Based on the teaching fragments in the Outline of Chinese and Foreign History,this paper presents the important role of mind mapping in establishing the concept of time and space through the form of teaching design,and provides new ideas and methods for teachers to carry out history teaching under the background of the new curriculum reform and help students to establish the concept of time and space.
